I don't know anybody who even felt the earthquake. And it was supposed to be reasonably close to us (it was the lead on the news last night). IMHO, those are the best kinds of quakes!

I was in St. Louis last April and the quake was 6.0 and I definitely felt it but it didn't do much damage. Thankfully. I'm not surprised you didn't feel the 5.0. I think they said you feel them when they are 6.0 and higher. IIRCOriginally Posted by penfold

I didn't even feel it, and I wasn't "too" far from the epicenter. I learned about it when I got the email from USGS stating there was an earthquake.
It probably felt like a big truck to anyone who felt it.
