Navy mom surprises son in class...

    Story:

    http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/1...ail.html#story

A Madison Heights mother returned from a 10-month tour of duty with the Navy in Kuwait into the arms of her second grade son Wednesday.

Local 4 cameras captured the tearful reunion at Edmonson Elementary School between Kelly Hartbarger and her son, Hunter, when Hartbarger surprised Hunter's class.

Although times have changed, that's what the military is about...making sacrifices so we all have our "freedom".

On another note, what a wonderful surprise and reunion.

Every now and then, CNN shows a vid of a soldier returning from Iraq, and he surprises his 2-year-old child with the visit. Always a touching story, as is this one.

My cousin had to leave his pregnant wife over a year ago and only returned from Iraq for a week to witness his daughter's birth (via C-section). He's going back to Afghanistan next month, and I pray he is able to enjoy a similar moment next year.

My SIL is having a C- section next week - their 3rd child - my brother is in Afghanistan and was in Iraq for the other 2 (a Marine).......He wasn't there for any of the births of his 3 kids!

This video is very very cool.
