Keep losing and Tebow declares for the Draft..that is, unless he pulls another Eli and refuses to play for them.

We do not see things as they are. We see them as we are.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
i heard allen iverson might be their QB in the future
Is that what happens to us? A life of conflict with no time for friends… so that when it's done, only our enemies leave roses.
It's going to take more than a mobile QB to save their asses. They basically need a new team.

Tebow is a great college QB
Number 1 QB in the draft? I dunno about that.
If this were 1952, you people wouldn't be saying all these terrible things about the Lions.
Yeah, I don't think he'll be an early NFL Draft pick (at least very early).Originally Posted by 161 and River Ave.

Tebow isn't a pro-QB. He'll either be converted to some type of TE (if he can catch the ball... or learn to catch the ball) or will be a very late pick (6th, 7th round) and maybe hang around a couple of years. If the Lions pick him with the first overall pick, they're screwed.Originally Posted by Soriambi

I agree. Perhaps he could even be converted into a FB or something. He is mobile, but he isn't Michael Vick mobile. I don't think his form of mobility would work very well in the NFL. It seems like a third of Florida plays are Tebow keepers of various varieties, which is what a good deal of his value is, but in the NFL there's obviously not going to be an offense that runs QB keepers that often, and even if they did, it probably wouldn't work.Originally Posted by keg411

After seeing that dirty hit on Jared Allen, I hope the Lions lose out.
Buffalo Bills 2010 "Oh"-Line
I'm no expert but he almost single handedly beat a tough Alabama team yesterday, and not just with his legs.Originally Posted by keg411

There's a different skill set between a college QB and a pro QB. That's why guys like Jason White never play a down in the NFL and guys like Tony Romo and Joe Flacco are NFL starters.Originally Posted by JfromJersey

I'm interesting in seeing what happens with Tebow. I've heard things saying he'll be a first or second round pick as a QB, and others, as mentioned in this thread, that he'll be a sort of H-Back player. An H-Back who was a Heisman-winning QB certainly opens up a lot of possibilities for innovative offensive coordinators.

Whoever drafts him will run that annoying wildcat offense for half their plays.Originally Posted by Yankees13
