I couldn't say "Old" Stadium.
Post the pics of it here. I'll add some when I get home from work, but I want a good one as my background at work.
Thank you for starting this thread. I wanted to, but I'm too new.
(I'm using imagevenue.com to post these and I know some work sites filter them since it's considered a "file sharing" site like facebook, etc so if you see a bunch of red X's where pictures should be, wait til you can view them on an unrestricted computer.)
Yankee Stadium 09/21/2008 (I won't call it old either)
New Yankee Stadium 09/21/2008
The stampede to Monument Park, managed to get to the retired numbers by 1:10pm (phew!)
Huggins & Ruth Monuments (Monument Park looked magnificent as ever, but CROWDED!)

Looks like foul poles have seen a lot...
NYPD & Securitas were about every 8ft the whole way and they were WATCHING...
Just off first base. You can see in the background people waiting to get into Monument Park as the line began to serpentine all the way through every part of the Stadium all the way around to the RF foul pole upper deck at times...

Upper deck view. Notice that they just stopped letting the fans on the field here. The last fans are by the 408ft. sign and being shooed along clockwise to the LF exit, this was at quarter to four...
Back in my seats now. Yankee stretch. 4:45pm
From my seats. First pitch.
Games countdown goes from 1 to zero? No. From 1 to...forever!
Andy leaves the field to a great ovation...
I have some more pics but I have to get going now. I'll try to post more later. Enjoy, and looking forward to seeing other pics here too. So many cameras last night!

That's a great pic with the dusk sky. My wife would love that, she always tries to get nice sunset pics....Originally Posted by LizrdKng67

The one of the Stadium with the pink/orange sky is awesome.![]()
I have to go through all of my albums. Remember when George was threatning to move in the late 80's and early 90's? Every game I'd walk around and take pictures of goofy stuff in the Stadium. Now I have to give my scanner a real workout!
I just found an entire photo album I took from the late 80's of pics.Originally Posted by LizrdKng67
