    Is there a link? Because all I can find is that he was in the hospital with pneumonia and that there are rumors of his death.

    Wasn't there rumors a couple weeks ago that he had died, and his publicist came out and said that he had an pneumonia but that he was fine?

    Yeah he was the best character in the Oceans 11 movies and he had like 2% of the screen time. He was pretty hilarious

    I still remember that FOX postseason baseball commercial where he was like "What the hell, baseball is taking my show's airtime? Bernie Mac is America's national pastime".

    For some reason I only just this second found out. It hit me really hard because I loved that guy.

    Whenever I went through something har din life, I would put him on the t.v and watching him perform would always cheer me up.

    One of the best to ever get on stage and there will never EVER be anyone like him to set foot on this Earth.

    Such sad news...I had read that he was sick a week or so ago but I thought he'd recover. Very funny guy...I'll never forget one of his first interviews (if not the first) on Howard Stern...classic radio. RIP

    I heard this before the Yankee game and my mouth dropped open and I stared at the sceen with my mouth agape for like 5 minutes. Such a funny guy. Such a great Comedian , Such a young life to live. I will never forget his performance in Bad Santa. This guy was awesome and will be sadly missed.

    A sad loss. He was a funny guy and it's sad to see him leave us at such a relatively young age. RIP, Bernie.
