Exactly 6 months after the Super Bowl, football's back.![]()
The Colts do an on-side kick to start off the year.
And the Redskins come right back and take a 7-0 lead, shortly more than a minute into the game.
And NBC is cutting away from the game to show pictures of Favre arriving.
What is the world coming to...![]()
Nothing says preseason like Jim Sorgi.
Alex Rodriguez
Career OPS: .965
Postseason OPS: .977
I was thinking we could use this mainly for the preseason, as posting individual preseason game threads could be annoying.Originally Posted by NYYFAN

Brennan looks pretty good. I've always thought he was better than the typical Hawaii system QB (Timmy Chang for instince), and it looks like he could be.
Brennan looks good, wow.![]()
Brennan's line so far.
9/10, 123 yards, 2 TD
Very impressive. Only one game, but if we see more of this, we got a steal in the 6th round.Originally Posted by YanksFan1992

Shouldn't he have been coaching third base?Originally Posted by YanksFan1992

Up in RI we're getting the Chiefs @ Pats, Rams @ Philly, and Cowboys @ Browns.
Yea that's not bad, I think I would rather see Carolina v SD instead of the Cowboys, but I get it.Originally Posted by RhodyYanksFan

I'd rather watch just about any game then the Cowboys.Originally Posted by Mezmerize

Jillian Barberie got married?! She looks good with the dark hair, but wow was that an ugly top. She shoulda taken it off.![]()
Tom Brady was just helped off the field with a gimpy knee after taking a hit during a QB sack. Patriot fans are sweating bullets right now.

Falcons are up 14-0 on Detroit (I chose Atlanta in pick'em as well).
Michael Turner had a 66 yard TD run, and already has 81 yards rushing halfway through the first.

He was able to walk downstairs after he reached the sideline so it's probably not that bad.Originally Posted by fredgmuggs

It amazes me how an NFL player can make through a season, let alone one game, without getting injured. The players are so amazingly strong and fast... well, it's just a tough way to make a living.Originally Posted by hardrain

14-7 Cowboys over the Browns. That TD pass to TO looked way too easy.
What a 4th quarter in the Panthers-Chargers game.....Carolina was in control at 19-10, but SD offense wakes up late with two awesome drives for TD's to go up 24-19 with about 2:30 left.
But Delhomme drives Carolina down to the SD 10....and hits Rosario in the end zone at :00 to win the game for the Panthers.

I agree. Sadly I still picked San Diego because I bet with my head and not my heart.Originally Posted by YASS
