Pavano for FMart
He probably will suck as much as Scott Kazmir anyway.
Who wouldn't take that trade? I'd trade Joba and A-Rod for Santa ClausOriginally Posted by Ericas367
Calmer than you are.
Are you kidding? Pavano is the key to #27!!![]()
....who?
If the Yankees get any quality for Pavano, that would be great but if not, I would keep him and maybe give him an opportunity in September if Ponson or Rasner are struggling and Hughes/Kennedy/Aceves can not fill in.
So stupid to trade Pavano when he's going to be a free agent next year, I mean he's a Type A who will net us....oh...what's that...hmmmm...ok, then, dump this scrub.

Geez, first Hawkins draws interest and is actually traded, now Pavano is drawing interest...this is messed up but I'm lovin it.

This has been one helluva trade deadline. I don't even want to sleep tonight.
Yup, ten times better than last year.Originally Posted by sweet_lou_14

Right now, if someone would agree to just take him and pay the remainder of his contract (Phillies, Marlins?), so the Yanks can use that money to get a pitcher who really WANTS to pitch, and has post season experience (Freddy Garcia), I'd be just as happy.
I'd think you'd have to trade Santa and Rudolph for Joba AND A-rod.Originally Posted by JavyVazquezIsSick

Not anymore he doesn't.Originally Posted by Vin R.

Pavano's trade value
The Yanks should let him rot in the minors till his contract expires. Dont reward him by letting him pitch in the majors for another contract in 09.

Amazing how starved teams are for ML arms. Pavano is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

is Kennedy still hurt..or is he just stuck down in the minors?Originally Posted by yankeetomer54

I disagree. His pitches all clearly come from the same arm.Originally Posted by Vin R.

We havent seen "electric stuff" from Pavano since he signed that contract with the Yanks.Originally Posted by Vin R.
Would never happen. Who would trade away those things when they just traded for Pavano?Originally Posted by NYBravest82
He's pitching in Scranton, and doing decently well. Still struggling with control a bit according to the BB numbers, but otherwise looks good.Originally Posted by Ericas367
