There were a tons of Jays fans walking around Seattle. A guy I talked to who went to the Monday game said it was practically a "home" game for them.
The coincidence of the scheduling the Jays on Canada Day is giving the Jays the Boston/Yanks road "home game" treatment.

Growing up in Detroit back in the 60'sJuly 1st in Canada was then called 'Dominion Day'. There was always a huge celebration on the riverfront with Detroit/Windsor...fireworks, music, etc.

I remember spending lonnnnngggg weekends in Ontario, with my Dad's family at a Lake Huron shore resort town...Grand Bend. We all celebrated 'Dominion Day & July 4th' together..good times/great memories.
