I think we need a replacement for Mo

Mo is really getting old now, and I don't think I trust him. I think it's time we start searching for another closer..... oh... wait... we only start these threads if Mo starts off badly? Ohhhh... I thought we started them every April. OK. Sorry, my bad. You can lock this.

    I STILL support A-Rod
    A-Rod's 2010 Season: .325, 63 HR, 164 RBI

My prediction for Javier Jazquez in 2010: 12-10, 4.84
I will gladly eat my words if I am way off.

That was sort of the point. The other threads about Mo being done didn't need to exist. Anyway, with it being a bad day for the Yanks yesterday, I figured some comic relief would do some good... although you don't seem to find it too comical.

That said, I think a replacement should start being groomed maybe next year.

Is Brackman definitely going to start or is it possible he'll be looked at as a reliever?

He's 6'10 and sits at 96. He will be given every oppurtunity to fail as a starter before they even consider the bullpen.

Agreed, but there are also concerns about his ability to stay healthy, aren't there? I was thinking that might prompt them to move him to the pen.

Well yea, there are with all guys that size and especially coming off of TJ surgery but I think they'll only cross that bridge if he proves he can't stay healthy and/or fails as a starter.

    Getting older? Yes.
    Pitching ok? Yes.
We should be worried about other Yankee pitchers right now.

    Mo can wait.

I think we should move him into the rotation and close with a committee Albaladejo, Ramirez, and Britton. Why waste him for 70 innings when we can have him for 200.

I guess Humberto Sanchez has fell off the earth at this point.
