I am not Greek, but I live in the beautiful Greek neighborhood of Astoria. A friend of mine lives across the street from a Greek church, and we watched the Easter vigil last night. How beautiful to see all the people standing in the street with candles.

My aunt dropped off Greek Easter bread yesterday. It's like a little piece of heaven eating it.My favorite thing! The kids keep eating it hoping desperately to find the coin hidden inside.
