Yup, although I think the big 3 of Wade, Melo, and Lebron all have player options for 2011. Same w/ Bosh.
One side of me says that the Suns got SHAFTED on this deal. But when I think about it and drink the Jalen Rose cool-aid, I start to think... maybe the suns are better off?? Battling injuries, a lack of a PG, and the unfortunate luck of playing w/ Ricky Davis and Mark Blount, he was still able to score 15 and grab 8. The lack of a PG, or competent entry passer, other than Wade, really hurt his game. I watched too many heat games on TNT and ESPN that I wanted to gouge my eyes out but I saw Shaq receiving the ball about 15 feet from the basket. That's too far for him. Plus no one could shoot on the heat so there was no spacing. In short, the situatoin in Miami sucked, whcih we all know. Maybe the change of scenery and teammates will do good for both sides.

I can't believe this trade. What were the Suns thinking? They lose a young, athletic stud in Marion for an aging, over-the-hill Shaq? I can't believe this! Shaq reminds me of Patrick Ewing in his final years...painful to watch.

Really bad deal for Phoenix, I really don't get it. Some tool was on ESPN radio attempting to downplay Marion's skills and worth. He basically chalked his game up to Nash getting him the ball in the right places. Perhaps Nash plays defense and rebounds for Marion as well? I really wonder where they dig these hosts up sometimes. This trade is going to kill that system, you think the Suns were lacking on the D before, they're downright laughable now.
I don't know what the bigger shock is... that Shaq was traded to the Suns or that he actually passed his physical.
