If Pryor goes to OSU, I wonder how much that will bump them.

not too happy about Onterio McCalleb changing his mind & commiting to Auburn. Glad to get D.C. Jefferson officially though.

Never left the Betances bandwagon.
Uono Kaveinga Commits to USC.
Why is this a big deal other than the fact that they're adding their 10th top 100 player? It gives them a better chance to land 2009 LB Manti T'eo who is probably the best LB prospect in the last decade.

2.) One player (WR Destin Hood) will likely opt to play MLB.
3.) Several players may not qualify. These are DT Marcel Dareus, RB Jermaine Preyear and CB Alonzo Lawrence, as well as prep school DT Kerry Murphy and JUCO DT Terrance Cody. Now, I doubt ALL of these fail to make grades, but you can probably count on at least one or two.
4.) Some players may "greyshirt"--delay enrollment until Spring '09 and count against the '09 25-man limit.
5.) Some players may pay their own way the first semester, thus not counting against the 25-man limit for '08.
6.) Finally, one player (S Wesley Neighbors) may be eligible for a Bryant Scholarship. This is institutional aid from Alabama that allows a relative (in Wesley's case, grandfather) of a player who played for Coach Paul W. Bryant to get a full ride, and it doesn't count against the 25-man limit for one year or the 85-man limit unless he plays during his freshman or sophomore year.
Congrats to Alabama for winning this years recruiting title.Originally Posted by 27IsNext
Enjoy it while you can because USC is taking it back next year![]()

Seriously. I just hope he can develop the talent, because he recruited a boatload and kept a ton of the local kids in Miami.Originally Posted by NelsonMuntz
