Rule Change Poll (Expansion Keepers)

OK....the debate is, should we change the rule or keep it the same?

Current rule: Expansion teams pick exactly 7 keepers from the discards of the existing teams.

Proposed rule: Expansion teams pick 4-to-12 keepers from the discards of the existing teams.

1) Voting is for league members only. If you're not in the league, please don't vote.

2) All members (returning and new owners) may vote

3) Voting is public.

I voted to change the expansion draft to allow 4-12 players to be selected.

I think this reduces the disadvantage of being an expansion team and places more emphasis on draft success.

We have to keep minimum 7, maximum 12 keepers.

This is for the expansion teams. We're suggesting that forcing them to keep 7 keepers from our scraps might not be too fair. Just lowering that floor to 4.

I'm glad to see this passed. This should make things more fair heading into the draft for the expansion teams. Any idea on the time frame for when this draft will take place?

In the auction league the rule is you must keep 7 to 12 guys

In the other (20-team) league, you get 5 keepers
