There was a 30 something year old man that was married to a very rich, 80 something year old woman. He had a seizure while she was riding him on the hospital bed at McNamara/Troy and was going to end up being a vegetable the rest of his life.Originally Posted by NewEraYanks2527
What about Gina taking a dive off the roof??? Was it an accident or did Christian murder her???Originally Posted by YanksForLife
This season is almost too weird, and that's saying quite a bit for that show. Since it jumped the shark the first episode of the series when they got rid of the dead body with the hams and gators....
But it is entertaining at times.
When does Rescue Me start???
That old lady was great in her role. They couldn't have cast her better if they tried. Her riding him was hysterical.I kind of whish they had killed him versus leaving him a vegetable. That was sad.
Gina's expression going over the edge literally was also great tv. I believe that was just an accident, but coming attractions have Christian lying about how she dies. Should be interesting.
Julie is dumb as a box of rocks. Did she really think Mr. Stick It In Anything With A Hole was going to stay faithful?! Maybe her illness revolves around her not having a brain.I'm guessing a rare form of cancer.

I remembered about the poison but for a minute there I thought she might have put some blood from a person with AIDS in the fruitcake.Originally Posted by Luvtino

I've got to start thinking that all involved with the show have made their money and are sick of working in the show. Now they have lost interest and creating story lines. The show better make a U turn or they have forever lost me. The villians are either gonna be the old manager or Eden . That is so predictable.Originally Posted by Paiglee
What is wrong with Julia. Eden put something into the fruit cake. What could it be?

It is probably arsenic in the fruitcake.Originally Posted by bobbymagee

the doctors thought is was some human immuno disease... I've got to google the various types. Do you really think it is arsenic? Does it take that long to kick the bucket from it?Originally Posted by Octoberbaby

Nah. I thought they said she got tested for all the big diseases and everything came up negative. It's got to be some sort of poison in the fruitcake.Originally Posted by Octoberbaby
That is just what I said. I only thought "for a minute there" that it was AIDS because they were going there in the storyline even though I knew it was from what Eden put in the fruitcake.Originally Posted by gdn

From true crime books I have read it can take awhile to die from arsenic poisoning and the person suffers during that period until they either die or someone finds out what is causing it.Originally Posted by bobbymagee
She would not get an auto immune disease from something placed in the fruitcake. What she would get are symptoms that resemble an auto immune disease.

I loved the scenes with the little old lady. She wanted to sit on his face after he got his mustache back.![]()

The poison she used was mercury which was causing the auto immune response. I thought I saw that in last weeks coming attractions but wasn't sure. Now I can't wait for the next episode to find out what happens to Julia. I was really hoping Eden would get busted this week for what she did but no such luck!

I used to think this show was over the top ( I missed last night) but now I realize it needs it's own terminology.

Julia can't be deaddddd nooooo

That was exactly my first thought. It was hard to tell from the coming attractions. Maybe she wanted out of the show.Originally Posted by Irishluck314

The coming attractions for next week show Julia being rushed to surgery after being shot. Why she'd be rushed to a plastic surgery office instead of a regular hospital is an element of fiction, but whatever. She's not going to die right away.
I loved the scene when Christian dropped his pants and whipped his thing out in front of those miserable, despicable women. Going back to earlier in the season, I loved Sean's line when discussing Hearts 'N Scalpels, "It's not about plastic surgery. It's about two sex-crazed lunatics and their crazy family!" It's great when Nip/Tuck makes fun of itself.
Colleen killing the real agent with the teddy bear filler was disturbing. That's the only scene I've seen on TV or in movies that I've found disturbing since watching some werewolf movie when I was 3 or 4 years old, and I watch a lot of gory, nasty crap. The thing she did by giving him teddy bear eyes after he was dead was sooooo creepy. That's definitely a classic TV moment. It was the first time in nearly 25 years that I found something disturbing in that way.
So maybe she was disfigured by the gunshot and not killed. Either way I hope Eden gets found out.Originally Posted by Lurker
I agree wholeheartedly with you about that scene with Colleen killing the agent. (I guess it was meant to be a Hollywood wishful thinking in joke at the expense of agents! Whatever!) To me that scene was particularly creepy and, if I remember correctly, not the only creepy scene in that episode. That was one of my least favorite episode for its creep factor.

I agree, the teddy bear stuffing incident was very disturbing.
Last night's episode with Matt (who looked particulary good) hooking up with that girl who is also supposedly Christian's daughter?
I was like WTF??? Matt becomes a Scientologist to be with Kimber, Matt learns Hebrew to be with the Israeli burn victim chick......Matt searches incest websites after sleeping with his supposed half sister. I loved when the burn victim chick dumped his needy *ss.

The thing about Eden is Julia has to be pretty stupid to call her out like that, alone at home. I could see that coming a mile away. Why wouldn't she just take the fruitcake and then wait till she could contact Sean or Christian or something and confront Eden in front of everyone with other people present?
That is exactly what I was thinking at the time I was watching it. Of course, no one in real life, realizing what a psychopath she is, would confront Eden with no one else at home. If it were me I would have gone to someone else with the proof and would have left that house so as not to end up alone with Eden again. She should have at least taken some of that tea to have it tested too as further proof.Originally Posted by gdn

Nope. She must have had a really difficult childhood to turn into what she's become at such a young age. And she reminds me of Stewie. Every time it seems one of her evil plans is going to succeed, someone or something gets in her way. Poor girl.Originally Posted by Octoberbaby
And I don't feel bad for Julia. I've been waiting for her to get it since the first or second season. It should have been her falling off the roof instead of Gina.

I don't think the show will end like this. There are too many loose ends left. I hate when they end a season with a cliffhanger like this! It will be a miracle for Shawn to survive with all the blood gushing out of him but I think he will.Originally Posted by YanksForLife

How he could live through that I'll never know... that was pretty damn gruesome.
I was shocked by the ending. Poor Sean. Poor Annie. That car accident was pretty gruesome as well. I thought they were going to lead up to them moving back to Miami.

I just read in the new TV Guide that they are already committed to 8 new episodes for next season. So, there will be a next season. It sounds like a short one though, unless they add more.Originally Posted by YanksForLife

A friend of mine said this season was slated for 22 episodes. But the writer's strike put an end to that. Maybe they do a short eight episode season this summer and come back again later next year? Who knows.
