For those who like to make the trek to Baltimore

The Orioles ticket presale started this morning. The password is "birdland". I figure it's not a big secret since the team has been plastering it all over their advertising.

I just picked up some tickets for the April 18th game and there are lots of fairly good seats available.

I'm trying to get the April or August Sunday or Saturday games. The seats available stink and they're $50 each.

Try Lower Box or Terrace Box...........Even Upper Box are available.

I just bought tickets behind the plate in the upper deck for both Sunday games. The cost was only $28 each including the service charges.

Don't stress over getting Orioles tickets this year -- you can buy pretty good tickets up to the day of the game (yes, even for Yankees games!) in Baltimore. The high-end seats, sure, sell pretty quick. But there are plenty of upper-level seats available until gametime on most occasions. There aren't very many bad seats at Camden Yards, either -- just stay out from under the roof along the foul lines and you're fine.
Last year, I went online at 11:30 the night before the last Clemens start in Camden Yards and got great tickets in the lower part of the upper deck (8 rows up, maybe) behind home plate for me and my wife. ZERO problems. I even went down and hung out in the lower levels for an inning to get a closeup look at the Rocket.
I know you have to get your tickets to any game waay early in New York, but it doesn't work that way down here. Not in Baltimore, anyway.
    So rest easy.
