HMC 2007 Round 1: Vartan v. Grylls and Kitsch v. Romo

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to another day of the Hottest Male Celebrity Competition of 2007.

Our first competition, hosted at WashingtonYankee's Clubhouse will feature (6) Michael Vartan vs. (11) Bear Grylls

The second matchup will take place at the DW Celebrity Hot Tub where we have

(3) Taylor Kitsch vs. (14) Tony Romo

In yesterday's matchups, Albert Reed def. Colin Firth (10-3) and Brett Favre def. Cuba Gooding Jr. (11-2). Reed and Favre will move to the next round.

This matchup will go on for the next three days, so feel free to take the time to make your vote if need be. The next new matchup will take place on Wednesday, December 26th.

Voting will be for the two men that you want to advance out of the matchups. You cannot vote for two men facing off against each other- you have to decide according to the matchups, picking one winner for each of the two pairings.

The other match up I really don't find either attractive but I picked Grylls because Romo looks like he got his helmet bashed off a few too many times.

I feel ambivalent about the first match, but PM'd my vote for Vartan to Kim. As for the second one, I voted for Romo (despite his Dallas Crackboy affiliation ) because Kitsch is a little too pretty for my tastes (though he has a great body).

Sam posted in the nomination thread that he was a big fan of Grylls. I don't think there was any malicious intent in his vote. I could be wrong.

He's voted in every matchup for the bottom one (i.e. the lowest seeds). Plus, the picture he posted was disgusting. He's shown enough intent to be obnoxious so far that I'm not counting his votes.

ETA: And Rhodeywiththemultiplyletters' as well (not RhodyYanksFan who voted a few times for his wife); I don't need their BS as I don't believe they're voting in any other way but to be rude and obnoxious kids.
