I thought he was hospitalized from a forearm smash. Here's how I pictured it going down:
He saw Chuck Norris and they bashed each other's forearms. Both ended up in the hospital. 3 bystanders were also hospitalized.

i read that and first thought it was going to be about having that hernia taken care of that i read about earlier in the year not a blood clot in his arm. i hope things are going to be ok with Shelley Duncan i like seeing him on the team and he's a good all around player.

Today's daily news said they've ruled out anything more serious than just the blood clots (his lymph nodes were swollen, so there was a brief cancer worry), and he should be fine. Good news.

OH thank you God! Before I viewed this thread and it just said "Shelley Duncan released" I was almost positive that meant he was released from the Yanks. I am so happy he wasn't released. Get better soon Shelley.
Here's to hoping that Shelley recovers strong and is able to be our firstbaseman for 2008.
