There was a thread about this a couple of months ago. I got hooked over the summer. I played "world domination" but unfortunately I can't get passed the second to last team (the Mets).
238 more runs to score 1000.

It takes time to get the hang of it. Don't fret.

True. I've mastered stick cricket so I guess I can do the same with stick baseball. I've just got to learn better plate discipline and handle that 90 mph fastball better.

By the way, how many runs do you have to chase down with the Mets?

    Re: Stick Baseball

I was bored at work yesterday (boss wasn't around) so I found this site that I used to play on:

    http://www.candystand.com/games.do;j...ategory=sports

The link is to the sports games. The actual playable baseball game is sort of fun, though there's no tournament. The Home Run Derby and Bullpen Blast are both quite fun.

I couldn't get past Cleveland this summer, and I fully accept responsibility for that being the harbinger of things to come this fall. My bad.

Don't feel bad. I can't get past the Cubs.

I may be developing an addiction as well.

I've come up 1 run short against Baltimore twice. :\
