i saw david copperfield a few days ago. it was made in 1935. it was extremely weird, i could barely understand what the hell th actors were talking about and couldn't really understand the point of the movie itself.

Anyone seen the Speed Racer trailer? The movie will suck story wise but the visuals are like an orgasm on the eyes. Like this is what live action anime looks like.

i saw no country for old men, kind of interesting.
Is that what happens to us? A life of conflict with no time for friends… so that when it's done, only our enemies leave roses.
Jus saw Superbad for the 2nd time. Its unbelieveable how that stupid humor can be so funny.
Phil Hughes is a starter!
Wow that looks like a horrible movie.Originally Posted by Sam18

I saw Live Free of Die Hard - didn't love it. One of the most unrealistic action movies you will ever see.

Cuz you know action movies are realistic.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

I don't know why, but I watched Alpha Dog the other night. Wow....everyone of them needs to be throat punched.
I know what you mean, but this one was WAY over the top. Nothing like the previous 3 in terms of unrealisticness (if that's a real word).Originally Posted by Sam18

I know what you mean but I didn't mind. I went in there thinking the movie was gonna suck but was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was really good.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

I agree some of it was a little over the top, not so much the action, but the fact that McClane was able to do some of it. Had it been a younger character, it might have been a bit more believable for me. In the end it didn't bother me, because seeing McClane again was great. That being said, it never really felt like a Die Hard to me, especially after repeat viewings. I don't know why exactly, but I never felt like he was in real danger and never felt like he would lose.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

Saw The Wind That Shakes The Barley the other night. Flat out fantastic movie, if you are Irish, it is a must see. Also a must see if you are a Cillian Murphy fan.

Watched "Rescue Dawn" last night (Christian Bale, Steve Zahn, Jeremy Davies, and a cameo from Francois Chau from "Lost"). Bale never disappoints. I was glad we had finished eating a few hours before we watched it though.
Went to go see Hitman last night....meh...still say Jason Statham would have been a better choice for Agent 47.

On the time warner cable tv guide they gave it 3.5 stars out of 4. The same guide gave Gladiator a 3 and Batman Begins a 3. Yes.Originally Posted by Evil Empire

Atonement won't be around Fairfield County for a little while longer apparently. I was all set to go on Saturday but it was NOWHERE. Closest I could find was in NYC.![]()

If I get motivated, I may walk to the theater tonight to see it.Originally Posted by LDG

I actually like going there, they use real butter for the popcorn instead of that oil. But it may also play in either the Bridgeport or Fairfield cinemas.Originally Posted by LDG
