I've got my eye on a Packard

Anyone have any feelings about the car? I was excited when I found it. Loving baseball, like just about everyone else here, I love the year it happened to be.

Is $12,500 way to high a price? It's registered out of Michigan as a Historical vehicle with the Historical License.

1941. A great baseball year. I know what I would have on the plates.

I'd have to see a picture to have an opinion. I'm into Studebakers mostly, but appreciate Packards too. Studebaker bought Packard in the 50s and actually marketed "hybrids" (Studebaker-Packards) for a few years. Here's my favorite: a 1958 Packard-Hawk. It's basically a Studebaker Hawk with a Packard front end on it and a Packard 352 c.i. V8 under the hood.

Post a pic of the car you're looking at.

Can someone translate this thread I'm having trouble reading it without the random blue and red words.

It is pretty nice but not a convertible. The wheels are different. Wish they looked like the ones on yours. Car is sort of a burgundy color. Car sure has nice lines. It is a three speed that is shifted up by the steering wheel. 6 cylinder engine.

I also like the DiMaggio/Williams connection to baseball. Could then change the colors to this and that some day -- maybe.
