And you thought ESPN was bad. Read hiscolumns. The guy hates the Yankees. Kind of funny that he's on the YES Network Hot Stove show.

He's just bitter because his last name is all sorts of hilarious.

He isnt a hater like the ESPN clowns. Heyman was the head baseball writer for Newsday up until recently when he went to SI. He does a spot on 1050 with Michael Kay once a week, he doesnt go out of his way to bash the Yanks like others.
Come on guys, not everyone is a Yankee hater. This is getting rediculous. He actually writes great articles for CNNSI.com. Not only that, I would say 80% of the time he writes positive Yankee articles.
Can you cite this?80% of the time he writes positive Yankee articles.
No but I read his column literally everyday, and not for once did I ever see him go out of his way to knock the Yanks. If anything, I feel he praises them. He ALWAYS makes a funny Pavano joke (which can be looked at as anti-Yank), and he is also on the fence about A-rod and the opt out clause (which can also be looked upon as negative depending what he has to say regaridng the opt out on that specific day).Originally Posted by CyYoung4Vazquez
The one knock people constantly say about Heyman is that Scott Boras has him in his back pocket, and that Heyman basically is a tool for Boras.

Oh as regards names, my father's name is Guy Fein (pronounced fine). If he had a dollar every time someone says he's a fine guy, he could have retired years ago!![]()

One of the best all-time unfortunate names was that of the old NASCAR driver - Dick Trickle.

I think there is a Baltimore area sports writer named Peter Shmuck
that is definitely a classic name.Originally Posted by fredgmuggs

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...day/index.htmlThe Yankees do have one idea to stop the Bronx bullpen from burning once they get back to playing competitive teams. They will try hard to unload Kyle Farnsworth, though competing execs say they'd have to pay about half his $6 million salary./
Caught this gem earlier...Did anyone ask Heyman how Boston and Detroit feel about playing Kansas City?
Too bad we missed out on Kenny Lofton and Joel Pineiro. We could've gotten a whole letter grade improvement.
