I see fields of green, Veeck's pinwheel lights
Cubs lose by day, Sox win at night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
Finally. Took long enough. A couple more things and I'll feel like I'm back home again.
As long as they put the handle bars in the subways so people like myself can hold onto something while i'm standing up, then we are cool.
People in Chicago seem so resistant to change of any kind its digusting. Live with it! Things change and evolve. Get the small city mentality out of your head. Then you complain when people call you the 2nd city or look down on you from other cities such as, oh I dont know....NYC.
