I said the same thing to my girlfriend yesterday. MW2 is more about crawling around and getting the drop on people, Halo is just different. More face paced and frantic, plus there all the new maps to learn and weapons. Definitly have to untrain from MW2, thats why I'm sticking with campaign and firefights for a while.

Don't have this conversation with your girlfriend. You will eventually have a pissed off girlfriend thats leaving the room every night. My roommate, (I'll give you he's a weirdo), has been playing Halo since the midnight release. i don't think I've seen him go to bed yet. His girlfriend is already threatening to leave him. He rarely even looks up to respond to anyone.

That makes sense. My friend and I have been putting time into the Legendary co-op campaign. I believe tonight we got through the seventh mission. Needless to say, Reach's version of Legendary is heads and shoulders crazier than all others in the series. Having a fun ass time though and can't wait until we're done so I can go head first into more multiplayer.

Speaking of the Legendary difficulty, there's an achievement worth 150 gamerpoints for doing it alone. I don't know if there's enough ammo (or patience) to get that done.

Isn't that what you'd expect from getting shot in the back?

No. If someone gets the drop on you, 9/10 times they'll win because it doesn't take much to get dropped in this game. I wasn't used to that in Socom, where a high control sensitivity meant being able to turn around faster and kill the nab shooting at you.

Elite Zealots (gold armor) are the worst. The game is so hard that I've become a scope shooter. In really tough shootouts I'll survey the area and one-shot any Grunts or unshielded Jackals that precision shoot with the needle rifle or focus rifle, so that leaves any Brutes (the gorilla looking things) and Elites. My favorite weapons are the DMR, Needle Rifle, Sniper Rifle, and even the .45. Also using sprint while my friend distracts an Elite is fun, because I can usually assassinate them just before it kills my friend's Spartan. Good times.
