The Bucs have put together a small run, and are now in third place in the NL central, 3.5 back of the Cards. They're two games under .500 with a three game set at Cincinnati coming up this week, followed by a home set against the Cards. If they stay hot, they can close ground on both of them.
Brian GIles is hitting .341 with 13HRs & 38 RBIs. He's got my vote for all-star outfielder (along with Abreu & Vlad Guerrero).
Jason Kendall is hitting .320, and stealing bases as if he'd never hurt his ankle. Another all-star vote.
Our old pal Luis Sojo is getting a lot of playing time at third base. He's hitting .269 with 3 HRs (!!) and 11 RBIs in 67 at bats.
That's all I have right now.
