Of course no list is perfect, but this is pretty good. I woulda put the last 10 minutes of Usual Suspects in there though.
EDIT: I'll try and fix link...

Links bad?
So many porn ads on the sidebar too.You made an error, stop it.
Most likely because the media/image/page or whatever you were looking for got moved to the Archives.
If it's not in the Archives yet, then guess what? It will be at the end on the month.
You've got nothing to believe in but believing in yourself.
Maybe it won't work because the link has the word sh*t in it. Replace the * with an i.

Good list. I think I would have included the dentist scene from Marathon Man.

Blocked at work. Can someone post it?
Also, I agree, if Usual Suspects isn't on this list then it is a bs list.
i've seen a lot of horror movies, but the curb stomp is the sickest thing i've ever seen in a movie, yikes

Can't look at the link but I gotta wonder if The Crying Game is in there....
A couple of others worthy of mention.... the drill scene in Body Double and the teeth on the curb scene in American History X.

No Alfred Hitchcock in there? Pshaw.

At least the shower scene from Psycho should be in there, the way it was originally shot that is.Originally Posted by Hildy910

I totally agree with the hobbling scene from Misery. I couldn't ................ing believe that they had that.

The last ten minutes of this movie is one huge "HOLY SH_T" moment. If you haven"t seen it yet, you DO NOT want to watch this clip.
14. Always look both ways
Meet Joe Black
13. Stuck in the Middle With You
Reservoir Dogs
12. Hip to be Square
American Psycho
11. Final Scene
Seven
You get two for one here. "Ohhh sh_t" when you find out what"s in the box and "OH SH*T!" when Brad Pitt makes his decision of what to do about it.
10. "Is this your pen?"
Casino
9. The first "chest-burster"
Alien
Remember the first time you saw this scene? It"s alot like seeing titties. It"s always awesome, but the first time you"re thinking, "Oh sh*t, I can"t believe I"m seeing this!
8. "Now go home and get your ****ing shinebox."
Goodfellas
7. Suicide
Full Metal Jacket
6. Spider Girl
Exorcist
5. "I shot Marvin in the face"
Pulp Fiction
4 1/2. Pulp Fiction 2 for 1: "That was trippy"
Pulp Fiction
4. Chainsaw
Scarface
I can literally remember exactly where I was the first time I saw this. I was way to young to be watching it and I couldn"t believe what I was seeing.
3. Hobbling
Misery
2. Hammer
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
1. Curb Stomp
American History X
Jeezus, this is without a doubt the most cringe-worthy, painful and brutal scene ever put to film.
Thanks dude!Originally Posted by apolansk
Nice list, but I agree with the omissions that have been listed in this thread.
The seven scene is pretty high on my list. My father and I watched that movie in the middle of the afternoon, in my parents' place, and it bothered both of us for a couple of days.
The abrupt suicide in Monster's Ball is another one.
One finger extended.
If Goodfellas didn't have the pen scene, it would still make the list for the guy's head in the vise.

hahah are people actually reading this. The chainsaw scene is on there

I'd put the chainsaw scene from Scarface in it.

My favorite moment in Hitchcock isn't the slightest bit vioent. It's the scene with the coffee cup in Notorious.Originally Posted by TongueStripes

They are both classics, I just love Casino so much more b/c of the dual narratives and the visuals, camera angles were just ridiculous. I also think it was better told story.Originally Posted by Octoberbaby
The Marvin scene from Pulp Fiction was hilarious. I remember when me and my friend were watching it we couldnt stop laughing for 10 minutes straight. I love how it was "oh, sh*te, I just shot Marvin in the face" "What! Y the foulke did you do that" "I dont know it was an accident." Almost like everyday conversation.
I disagree about Casino. I thought it was too long and could have been edited better. Goodfellas flowed from beginning to end.Originally Posted by just-blaze
