He got Howard on a liner to center. Solid inning.

Igawa threw plenty of strikes in that scoreless inning, and Ryan Howard was fooled by the first two pitches he saw before flying out to Damon.

Nice scoop by Giambi to get the DP, as Werth falls down and can't get back to first.

Igawa is good at getting out of very difficult looking jams. That seems to be all he does. ::allow 2-3 baserunners, don't give up any runs::

Michael Kay was right: a very nice scoop at first by Giambi to complete the double play that began when Damon caught the ball in center field. End of inning.

Posada gunned down at home. It looked like the C had some trouble handling it, and Posada might have scored if he hadn't stopped 3/4 of the way home. Oh well.

Cano hits a line shot double to RF. Craziness ensued and Jorge is thrown out at home.

If he had kept going he would have made it as the catcher dropped the ball.

Ugh. Bad memories. They have a yearly aburdly annoying commercial. It must be a contest or something. Or maybe Ben Affleck writes and directs them.
