Unless a non-sequel movie has an AMAZING trailer its usually not anticipated much.

I'm a big Will Ferrell fan AND I liked Napoleon Dynamite, but I think Blades of Glory looks awful. I don't know if you've seen the trailer, but it looks like recycled comedy.

Transformers looks amazing! I have a 10 year old son and was dreading having to sit through another crappy kids' action movie but this really looks special.

well that answers my question. i have read snippets of the graysmith book and I know it has 5 or 6 suspects, I was wondering how they would figure into it

A lot of sequels and action movies on that list and not very much appeals to me. 300 is the one I'm anticipating the most.

One movie that I'm slightly looking forward to that is not on the list is a Daniel Day Lewis movie (don't recall the title off-hand) about a turn of the century oil family. Seems interesting.

If "Order of the Phoenix" is anything like the previous Potter film it's not even worthy of being in the top 10 on this list. "Bourne Ultimatum", "American Gangster" and "Spiderman 3" are the films I'm most looking forward to watching this year.

I have a feeling that 300 is going to be a huge letdown.
It's a great story (an underdog of monumental proportion defeating a massive invading army) that is best suited for a Braveheart/Gladiator/Troy type of format.
Using the sensationalized comic book version is a mistake IMO.

Live Free or Die Hard, The Simpsons, Transformers, Zodiac, Ocean's 13, Pirates, and Beowulf all sound awesome to me but if all I see is Spider-Man 3 this year I'd be happy. Maybe.

Of course, I also want to see Hot Fuzz, because I love Shaun of the Dead. Last night I went to Youtube and watched all the video blogs they made while filming the movie. Those dudes are hysterical.

It's a British cop movie with Simon Pegg (Shaun) and Nick Frost (Ed). It looks freaking hysterical. We watch Shaun of the Dead all the time, so I can't wait for it! I think it opens in the UK on February 16, and on April 13 in the US.

I saw a mention of this movie somewhere and I don't know how this is going to be good. I mean c'mon 1 man against a world of vampires by night... If anyone can make this movie good it's Will Smith and I suppose the script must be good since he agreed to do it, but it seems a little far-fetched.

300 looks amazing. I saw a commercial for it during 24 on Monday... me and my friends were absolutely astounded by the quality of the film making. Looks like it will be a hit.
