    Dallas at Atlanta 12/16/06

It's on the NFL Channel right now. The HD broadcast is on channel 95 on Directv.

For those that can see this game, maybe we can help out those that can't. This should be a good game.

They just had a surprisingly good interview from Deion Sanders with Tony Romo. Deion's suit looks like he stole it from a Doorman somewhere.

I dont know if my dad is an idiot or not....but he was telling me he heard somewhere that the Falcons were gonna run some plays with Vick as a RB.

Does anyone know about this, or heard anything about it?

I didn't hear that mentioned anywhere. Dunn is able to start. It might have been a fallback option if he couldn't go tonight.

Looks that way. Vermeil needs a lozenge or something...his voice sounds terrible.

The NFL Channel has Dick Vermeil in the booth tonight and he can barely talk. I just wonder when he will start crying.

Nice 1st down there by Romo & Witten on 3rd & 11...even more impressive was the protection Romo was getting from the line.

Atlanta starts from their 13 now.

Dang it! I thought Dallas might get lucky and convert another 3rd down. Oh well, pretty good punt ...hopefully the D will play better than last week.

    T.O. with a 2 yard catch.

Hey, did you hear what they said in the pregame about Owens? He has a torn tendon in his finger. The doctors gave him the option of having surgery now and missing the rest of the season, or continue to play but he'll NEVER be able to bend that finger again. He opted to play.

I can't believe it, but I actually just found some respect for him.

Regardless of T.O.'s off-field crap and his ego, the guy's a gamer...gotta love him for that. Look at what he did when he broke his leg w/ Philly...worked his but off, came back for the Super Bowl and played one hell of a game.

Does Atlanta often rotate their QB's like that during a game? Never seen the QB carousel in the pros, only college.

End of the first quarter, 7-0 Dallas.

Man, Schaub's arm is SO much better than Vick's. Of course, that's not saying much.

He's a tremendous ballplayer. Vick is going to be in for a long night, I think, since Ware is going to be shadowing him the entire game.

Unfortunately, Vick will never live up to the hype so many "experts" laid on him when he was drafted. Ever wonder if he feels like there's just so much pressure on him to succeed that he can't?

Thank goodness that offsides penalty nullified Romo's pick...Dallas not need a momentum killer right now. We need to lay it on and put this game out of reach in the first half.

Never mind...I spoke to soon. Romo should have looked to his left and thrown to Owens, or maybe they should have just handed off to Barber...he's been pretty good on 3rd downs. Damnit...TD Falcons. 14-7 Dallas, w/ 11:11 remaining in the 2nd.

It wasn't Roy Williams, it was Anthony Henry who got burned on the deep ball and then again, as #1PaFan mentioned, on the TD pass.
