I just saw screentime stats for April, and Sarah Brown was on every damn day of April! I couldn't believe it. That made me so damn angry. So many other people I would love to see but they shove this broad and her annoying, boring character down my throat. I am not amused. This damn heifer was on more than Steve Burton in April....NO ONE is on more than Steve! When someone is on more than Steve, there are some serious damn problems. Sonny and Carly's son was just shot in the head, yet Claudia has had more airtime than them. The writers LOVE Carly, but even SHE has been missing ALL WEEK in favor of Claudia. THAT is nuts.
They are trying to force me into becoming an EX viewer with the Sarah Brown show. The thing is that I predicted this would happen when I heard she was coming back. They are doing what they always do - when character tanks like hers has, they try to force feed you, cram them down your throat in an effort to get you to like them....and then they attach their rank characters to Steve's ass so Jason can save them. It sucks and it is beyond old.
I'm probably looking at Sarah Brown from a different perspective (I do agree she's had too much airtime) but being a male, for me she is very good eye candy. But every day is a bit much.

They are definitely gearing up to pair Claudia with Jason. I am just about gagging at the thought of it. The scenes with the two of them in the abandoned cabin turned my stomach. I am also getting tired of seeing her on my screen.

No they aren't actually. The biggest indication of that is when they made her responsible for Michael's shooting. That told me all I need to know...BUT I also have access to some backstage info and lets just say that Jason and Claudia ain't happening romantically. BUT she will be in his face a lot. Just enough to make me sick! The thing about this show is that they work really hard to make Jason the hero, give him golden writing and make him always right. That is another reason why they won't pair him with her because it would make him look bad on ALL counts. And Guza loves himself some Jason. They would NEVER make him look stupid by putting him with a woman he would then have to kill. They aren't gonna put him with a woman that he already suspects knows something about the shooting of a child he loves. It doesn't matter that he doesn't know about her now...he already mistrusts her....we KNOW that he WILL know. Because he is Jason and he eventually gets to the bottom of EVERYTHING.
Also in the interest of keeping Jason looking good, it would make him look like the biggest bastard to have essentially dumped his family to hook up with Sonny's sloppy second mob whore. Guza's not gonna have Jason go out looking like THAT. They are way too invested in keeping hime noble and heroic. And what happens with Jake? They didn't give Jason Morgan a son so that he would NEVER claim him. And you know damn well Jason ain't hooking up with Claudia, forgetting about Liz and raising Jake with Claudia. Come on. Not gonna happen. Besides, he's not fickle like that. What is most likely to happen that when Liz and Jason get back together, Claudia will probably be obsessed with Jason and try to cause trouble for them just like she did with Sonny and Kate. I think she is DEFINITELY gonna go all fatal attraction on him and harrass the daylights out of Liz. THAT is what they brought her on for. Not to pair her with any one man.
Not to mention that just last week Jason was mooning over Liz still very obviously in love and you KNOW that wasn't a final breakup between them. NO Jason breaup EVER ends with tender kisses and I love yous. When it ends like THAT, you know that is merely see you soon, we are not done by a long shot. LOL In fact I happen to know they that will be reaffirming their love for one another soon....may not be reuniting just yet. But they will still be pledging their love for one another. A REAL final Jason breakup is ALWAYS ugly and beyond final...where you know that he will never take that woman back. Instead, he left the door wide open for Liz when he walked out. They aren't done.

You know, I really love Maxie and Spinelli scenes. And when you add in the animosity between Maxie and Jason, it makes it even more fun. However, I'm becoming a little annoyed with Spinelli for giving Maxie of all people so much access to Jason's personal information. Why in the hell would he actually tell her what the keys were for? That was NONE of her business and Jason would NOT be pleased with that. Hell, I wasn't pleased with that. It was stupid.
Also, I'm not liking Maxie's attitude that she is entitled to know Jason's business just because she is now Spinelli's sidekick. I didn't like her searching his desk either. And it makes no damn sense for the commisioner's daughter to have nearly free run of Jason's place. It's illogical and it annoys me. Now, granted Jason is way too smart to leave anything incriminating lying around, but still it's stupid. They need to dial back this aspect of Maxie's character for me. And if Spinelli tells her one more damn thing that is not her business I will smack him!
They will catch up with Devlin.
I guess Sonny's days with Kate are numbered (until he finds out about the million she sent to Devlin).

See, I'm confused about where they are headed exactly only because there is nothing else to do with Kate. I'm sure that Sonny will feel betrayed and dump her- rightfully so. But I don't know that they will be done for good. I suppose that they could always do a Kate/Jax pairing, but just thinking about that puts me to sleep.
But this whole paying off Devlin thing is stupid. Why not just go to the cops with the info? It was just a dumb twist. They couldn't think of any other way to create angst between Sonny and Kate?

Yup. I think it's inevitable though. They would go there eventually anyway. Not that they have ever been my fave couple, but I can't see Sonny ad Carly round 98 working out very well because I don't think Maurice and Laura have good romantic chem at all.

Surprisingly, things have been pretty quiet with the Mo's contract talks. I haven't heard anything more about what he's thinking. I know TPTB must be getting really nervous....Mo could leave this summer and if I were a betting woman, I'm thinking Steve is gone next summer. Although, if they lose Mo, they will be absolutely DESPERATE to keep Steve. He'll be in a nice spot. I know they are already concerned with keeping him as happy as they can.
I have to admit, with the movie Last Castle and his prospects I was surprised Steve Burton has stayed this long.

That's a good point. And he seems to "need" GH even less right now because he's doing very well with his business ventures. So it will be interesting to see what he ultimately decides. But on the other hand, I can see why he would stick around because it is a secure job that does allow one to still spend a good amount of time with the family.
I remember when he came back to GH this time tha the said that his contract allowed him an out if something better (aka primetime or the movies) came along, but he just enjoyed GH so much that he came back.

It was hysterical. Really, the Jason and Spinelli scenes were just about all worth watching for me. Although I did like Robin and Anna.
Spinelli has problems. LOL And pissy Jason is just hot.

Carly apologizing to Liz was really done well. I was so happy to see Carly realize that things are not as black and white as she thinks they are. She always likes to think she is right about everything. Now this thing with Michael has caused her to rethink that.

I kind of like Laura Wright with Maurice. But I didn't really like Tamara Braun. Although, I do have to admit she is doing great on DOOL.
I hope Maurice does not resign. As much as I don't like some of his acting lately, I do like him when he actually emotes his feeling rather than just yelling at everybody. He must feel burned out with the storylines they are giving him. I also like him with Kate and I think they will stay together, at least for awhile.

I got chills at the end of yesterday's episode when Carly opened Michael's bedroom door and the hospital bed and all the medical paraphanelia stuff was all there.

I can see Carly's point of view of not wanting to accept that her child will not wake up--a mother never gives up. I like that Sonny and Jax were on the same side and really liked that the writers remember that Luke and Sonny are old friends.
Jason and Spin were fun yesterday. Steve Burton gives the best looks when they have scenes together.
I got to say that I love me my Patrick these days. He's so yum!

I read that the actor who plays Michael has been let go. The article states that he was very shocked about it. Well, I guess that tells us what Carly's decision will be. They are looking at actors who are much older than him to play Michael in the future. I really don't think they can get away with making him age too much right away. It would only be believable if they wait a year or so to bring him back.

From what I understand the actors they are considering are about that age. I really don't think it will be believable to have this kid come out of a coma and all of a sudden be almost an adult.
I'm willling to bet they are going to do a replay of what happened to Jason. Michael will not remember anything and will end up involved with the mob. Then Carly and Sonny can experience first hand what they did to the Quartermaines by contributing to Jason's involvement with the mob.
