I still would rather they hadn't done the re cast but I am getting used to the new Michael. Actually, he would have been a better casting in the first place because he is more like Michael as a kid.

Totally agree. I can't picture Drew Garrett in the prison scenes at all, (that is where I still am).

Anthony Geary (Luke) goes on his annual summer vacation June 30 and doesn't return until late September/early October.

I was disappointed Drew Garrett did not win the Emmy. The kid who won, from B&B, is really a lightweight compared to Drew. I would really like to know who votes in the Daytime Emmys?

Franco comes back this week. I am three days behind so I don't know what has happened this week but I saw James Franco on The View today talking about it.

I was four behind as of this morning. I caught up today.I am getting used to the new Michael but still miss DG. I don't know how I feel about the Franco storyline. I like James Franco but since he is not a regular character I could do without it.

Hi ladies, I'm still a bazillion episodes behind, just got the nuMorgan recently and don't like him at all. I too am getting used to nuMichael, still preferred DG but I'm slowly getting used to this guy ... my boys are gone for the next few days so I'll be able to catch up a bit, and I'm going to fast forward through a lot, I couldn't care less about Olivia/Johnny, will skip nuMorgan stuff and frankly I'm bored with Lulu/Dante too ... so basically, there's nothing that's keeping my interest which is why I'm so far behind ... looking forward to Brenda coming back though, hope they do it right ... I'm sure Sonny will be thrilled so see her ...

Caught some of the Brenda-athon on Soapnet last night. Watching it, makes you realize just how bad the show has gotten...They had such good stories in 1996 and 1997--and used the veterans more! Bobbi actually had a story and so did Katherine and Mac...and Jax's assistant V was on! LOL

Not sure what to expect with Brenda back...

I agree, it is sad that all those characters are gone. They have ruined the Qs while they keep bringing in new characters who no one cares about.

While I'm at it, why do they have so many people in the intro. It used to be just the actors on contract. Are all those people on contract. At this rate, pretty soon they will be showing the extras in the opening.

Suzyn elaborated on what a huge fan of General Hospital she is and John Sterling said he began his soap opera watching with the old Love of Life which is off the air. Who would have guessed there was a connection between Yankee baseball and soap operas?

Being in L.A. I don't get to hear him so I never heard that. I do recall that Jesse Ventura said, when interviewed on Howard Stern, that he was a big Y&R fan from watching with his wife.

WOW! Then I heard Michael Kay say that he and Al Leiter feel there is only one soap that really matters and that is the Young and the Restless. I was shocked. That's my soap too, although I lurk in GH often. I see Brenda is back...

The summer is always kind of slow. I personally did not like the Franco storyline. I like Lulu and Dante together and there is a storyline where Carly is trying to get revenge on them which is still going on. Also, the story about Michael going to prison will have relevance into the future. Also, there is a storyline right now about Patrick and Robin and Patrick's ex-GF if you see anything pertaining to that it is still going on and is OK. I hope that helps. I would FF the rest.

I don't know if I agree that Y&R is the only one that matters. I love Y&R but I am also loving ATWT which is ending this Friday. Sorry to see it go! Les Moonves from CBS stated that they are only going to keep the "special" soaps, hence, ATWT is not very "special" to them. Tell that to the millions of fans who have been watching it for years, Les.

I also like GH but I am liking Y&R better these days.
