You can send any donations (montly pledges or one time) to the following address: Bronx Bombers Online LLC PO Box 1972 W. Caldwell, NJ 07007 Please make your checks or money orders payable to: "Bronx Bombers Online LLC". Thank you :)
People change email addresses all the time for a variety of reasons. Please take the time to check the email address that you have on file to make sure that it is current and functional. We really need a way to contact members from time to time, and failure to keep a functional email on file leads to a member being banned until we are contacted with a current, working address. This can cause unnecessary stress, drama, aggravation, and work for everybody involved. In the words of...
For those of us who don't know how to make them ourselves and don't have 15 million posts. There isn't really a wide selection of the ones we have now. Many different choices would be good so that like 20 people all don't have the same one. And some of the players included are no longer with the team. Some selections of guys like Damon and Farnsworth would be nice. Also there isn't a lot of selections in the Legends section too. I wouldn't mind seeing guys like Rizzuto, Martin, Dickey,...
it's really very simple.. Lets say i'm browsing through Brian's photo gallery, and I want to link one of those images into a post of mine. First, i'll select the address of the image in the address bar of the browser. Then right-click on the address, and select "Copy" Edit: For the time being, linked images in the Just Conversation or Sports Bar forums will just appear as links to the image.
I need to get this off my chest because it absolutely kills me. I've avoided going to ITL sometimes because of it. It seems like everyday tons of new threads emerge when someone has an idea and they want to ensure their idea to be heard. So instead of posting their idea in an existing thread on the subject matter (which is possible 99.44% of the time) they start a new thread because their thought is OBVIOUSLY worthy of being broadcast to the entire forum as a headline. It doesn't...
350 Members 550 Guests I can't negotiate the Site without being kicked out. I've had countless database errors and a few freezes. It's understandable with this volume of people viewing the Site. Perhaps we can make this member-only for the time being as it has been in the past during these high volume times?
Any chance we could: 1) Have the search restored for all the forums? 2) Have the Birthday Calendar updated to the present? 3) Have the ability to view more that 25 posts per page? These were all things that were available in the past. Thanks in advance for looking into these requests.
NO SPAM or I will close and delete. I am serious about this. Try to limit yourself to one request. Try not to be condescending and judgemental of the mods. We do this for free, and because we love the Yankees and here. Be nice, and have at it. Fair enough? :) I will list the reasonable (;) ) requests in this post _______________________________________ 1. Fix Player PerformanceThread
OK....I was wondering, why not sell t-shirts, hats, etc., with nyyfans.com on it? I'm sure a lot of posters would want to buy one. I was thinking it would be great to run in to a poster one day just b/c you had a shirt on. They'd be good to wear to games, and I'm sure they would attract a lot more visitors to the site - which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing. No doubt would be a good fundraising thing though in and of itself. Not sure about copyright infringements though...
This has happened to me twice - on two different computers on two separate networks (one of which is a school owned computer, so it's not infected by me or anything). I was browsing the forum and when I clicked a thread title to open it, I was redirected to some website called "China on TV." :dunno: EDIT: It's not really a pop up ad either, it opens in the same window and same tab.
I see we have 12,498 members at NYYFans.com. Are we all numbered as we join this group and is there any list? Take for example ... is maybe Jim F member number 1? Or is #1PaFan maybe member number 69? Who is member number 100? Whom is member number 1000? Am I possibly member number 6666? I'm just wondering if someone has the answer. Thank you very much.
Anybody know? I have tickets on the 21st
I feel like this site is more restrictive than any other site that allows postings that I have been on. Which to me is funny, since this is the main purpose of the site. Mods lock threads left and right, and the reasons are not even good ones. There was a recent thread about countdown to A-Rod breaking Marris' 61, which I thought was interesting, but did I get to post in it? No, it was locked already by Ring403 (or whatever) for "One A-Rod countdown thread is enough." I beg to differ, this...
Hey all, I come in here a lot (Yankee Chat) and no one is in it. People should be in there. Don't you guys think? It's really boring, we all should at least try once a week and chat. What do you guys think??
Step one.. after clicking "reply" or "post new thread", scroll down to the box labled: "Attach File:" and click the "Browse..." button.
I noticed that in the "new style" avatars, we don't have any yet of Jetes or even the new players like RJ or Tino. Is there any way we could get some?
I've been trying this over and over for a couple of weeks now, using all three editors, but I keep getting the error that my picture exceeds the 50x250 limit. I tried using a very small pic, as well...same result. I've read other people had the same problem. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
What's the reasoning behind the bizarre change to the PS? How are we supposed to have any kind of discussion at all, on any subject?
I know in an open forum, particularly on the Internet, there is a real need for rules and regulations to avoid chaos and maintain decorum, however, I find the rules (both in amount and content) in this forum are becoming a bit overbearing. I saw a thread titled Curt Schilling takes shot at Yankees payroll and went in to view only to find it closed after one response! What would be the reason for that? Because forumers have negative thoughts on Schillings unsolicited and antagonistic...
Was extremely useful. Is there any chance of it returning?
or am I just missing it? I looked int User CP>Options but don't see it...
Internet explorer can not open the internet site...(url) Operation aborted I'm getting the above message when opening some threads, it seems as if it's a specific post that causes this because when the thread goes to the next page, I don't have a problem. Anyone know what this is about?
It seems to involve our George. Whenever I check a thread where's he's posted, I get a weird error message. It says: Not Found The requested URL /about:blank was not found on this server. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at forums.nyyfans.com Port 80

just an fyi
I'm really starting to dislike how Inside the Lines works on this site. I've been a member for years, as most of you know, and I'm not sure when this change really occurred, but it's getting impossible to read. I can't stand how everything is grouped into "The Arod Thread" or the "Scott Proctor Performance Thread", etc. It makes it impossible to know what is going on. These threads are pages and pages long, and they discuss so much stuff. There's no focus. There's no knowing any news...
Sorry for asking such a question, but when someone is listed as "released outright," does that mean that person is banned from making postings on this site?
As 2003 approaches the end, I wanted to take a moment to thank Jim and all the Moderators for all the hard work you all do to make this site the best forum on the internet. And for putting up with us when we step out of line or open a duplicate thread (which I promise to make every effort to not do!). Don't think your efforts go unnoticed. Happy Holidays to you all and a prosperous and healthy New Year! :gulp:
