People change email addresses all the time for a variety of reasons. Please take the time to check the email address that you have on file to make sure that it is current and functional. We really need a way to contact members from time to time, and failure to keep a functional email on file leads to a member being banned until we are contacted with a current, working address. This can cause unnecessary stress, drama, aggravation, and work for everybody involved. In the words of...

I just discovered this great site - you can edit any image right online. Slick as all get out... http://snipshot.com/ -jim
All the fonts have changed on my computer (internet only). I swear I did absolutely nothing. Any idea how I can fix it? Anyone?
Hey Jim I think there is something wrong, I don't think all of the posts are getting counted. I know I just posted a few and they did not register, and I noticed under some of the new forumers names it says 'o' posts when obviously they should have at least 1 if not more. I thought you would like to know. Greg
This is our thousandth topic anniversary! :)

Just like anybody else here, am a hugh yankees fan and just wanted to share a quick story to get any feed back from the Empire's people. I reside at Ft.Myers Fl, where the Redsox hane spring trainning at. Yesturday at my wireless company job, I attended Kevin Millar of the redsox. He had a very good character with me while i helped him out with his issue, but I had to ask him about the A-ROD matter, if he was just smack talking to pump up the rivalry again or was did he really not like A-ROD....
I've seen a few newbies on the site "bashing" some players in YD... Perhaps this thread could go back in the Yankee Discussion forum? Just an idea...
Nice one, Jim!! Actually, it should be a "Child Search in Adult Forums" There'd be a TON of hits on that criteria!!!! :D :gulp:
"Thanks for everything Joe!" I noticed this a few days ago and kept waiting for someone else to comment. If they did, I missed it! Subtle, real subtle!
This has happened to me twice - on two different computers on two separate networks (one of which is a school owned computer, so it's not infected by me or anything). I was browsing the forum and when I clicked a thread title to open it, I was redirected to some website called "China on TV." :dunno: EDIT: It's not really a pop up ad either, it opens in the same window and same tab.
Jim, I'm still clicking.... but is there any way you can prevent the advertisers from taking us out of B-B.com? You know, the usual click ads that bring up a separate window that you can just close and be back at B-B are fine, but the ones that actually take you out of B-B are a pain - the current North American Fishing Club ad, for example. I forget I have to hit the Back button, and kill my whole Internet connection instead. Dumb. Just an observation & comment. Palmer
I am going to get in trouble if that ad keeps yelling congratulations at me. Any way to disable the sound on that 'this is not a joke you are the 100K visitor"??
Jim, I don't know who is running this, but when you submit it asks for a username and pwd, and doesn't have a "signup" or anything, so it doesn't seem to work.
just an fyi
I'm not too bright but those posts seem to be missing all the info one would need about the actual party itself (like, what date we picked, what's the status on ticket ordering, checks, etc.) There's only Ally's suggestions on visits to NYC. Can you fix it please? Thanks!! Also, on the opening page, please add Chris Turner's name to the list of players lost from last year. Thanks again!!
If you have a 1/2 hour to kill, watch this odd phenomenon. Open up a forum page -- let's say it's Around The Majors. Note what the top few threads are in order, and who had the last post on each, and what time that post was. Now refresh the page every minute or two. You will see new posts being added, obviously. But if you do this long enough, you will see something weird happen. Let me give you a hypothetical situation: Joe has started a thread called Baseball Bats. It is currently...
Is anyone else having an issue with this, this morning? When I click on it, instead of going to the first unread thread, it sends me to the last post on the thread.
That blows goats! I don't want to delete any of my PM's. I've grown attached to them!
Are only the box scores of our wins going to be posted on the front page of this site just to make us all feel good? The one that's up now has been there for nearly a week. It's starting to bother me. Tell it like it is, and change the darn thing, if it's not too much trouble. ;)
Howz about injecting some Yankee/Nets _BLUE_ into this, Jim? :) BTW, that would be "Let's Go", not "Let's go". :uhh: ;)
Ok, this has been discussed at different times but I still see it and it's not just with polls. I went into ATM and posted something in a thread that was not a poll. I went back in 45 minutes later and my post was highlighted as 'unread' (yellow). How does this happen? Obvioulsy I 'read' my own post. Do I need to mark everything as "read" after I'm done reading posts to not see this? This is such a low-priority question considering all that's happening but I am curious.
Jim, Just wanted to let you know that the "Meet & Greet" section on the main page is a good idea! :)
Jim, Mods, All, I just noticed that this was created. If subforums are being created for different sports, then why does a year have to be attached to this? If, say, one were created for NBA, couldn't we just as easily discuss the Knicks' Ewing era? I get the impression that adding a year only means the current season's discussion is encouraged there. Thoughts? BTW, are other sports due to be added soon? Thx. :D :)
I was curious what these denote. Some veteran posters have a bunch, while some others have none... what's the deal?
Are there going to be any significant changes (like the software update last year) that you have planned Jim? Just curious. :)
I have to scroll from left to right! The rest of the forums are fine including the main forum page. Wats up this dat?
