So why? I can't see anyones Avatar or Sig's sorta irritates me.
Occasionally I've seen posts that have these embedded flash scripts in them such as the following (select "reply" and then "switch editor mode" to see the code): http://forums.nyyfans.com/showpost.php?p=6743611&postcount=14 In this case, it appears to be some kind of tracking script for ticketnoise.com. I've reported nyyfansupreme as well as a couple of others who do this but Mr. Supreme continues to post. His (her?) posts are always short and non-informative which leads me to believe...

I asked a legitimate in this thread and it was moved to the pcp, I'm curious why.
The first two Team Hero threads this year (last Tuesday and Wednesday) were started (and remained) in the Forum Formerly Known as Inside the Lines, now called "Player PerformanceThreads." That's consistent with the location of Team Hero threads last season, but is it the right place now that the old "Inside the Lines II" is the one, the only "Inside the Lines"? Or are people just tired of these threads? I posted the Saturday Team Hero thread (in "Player Performance Threads" for...
Hi, a few of us are traveling from Buffalo by car to see a Yankees game in Sept. Had heard that we should drive as far as White Plains and catch a subway to the stadium from there. Is there a better place to find a hotel than White Plains somewhere maybe closer in reference to coming from Buffalo? Maybe NJ? Thanks!
Greetings, How do I post a question in the 'Out of Play' forum? I am trying to find a list of which seats at the stadium are under cover. I am going to try to buy 4 tix on SH, but want to make sure I am in the sun. Not sure how to find this info out. Wanted to post but I am told I don't have permission. I have activated my account. Thanks! Eric
The home page has been up for 11 seasons, but the forums for 10? ;)
OK, I noticed a couple of things in the Game Thread tonight (and elsewhere on the Forum): 1) The page never completely loads (or it says it doesn't). The Firefox tab header always looks like this: 2) The "Back" button doesn't work. Anyone else?
Just a thought....there should be a sub forum under "Out of Play" for Yankee goods/items & paraphernalia where users can have a separate forum simply dedicated to all tangible things yankee.
How do i get one that is not one of the default ones??
I am going to get in trouble if that ad keeps yelling congratulations at me. Any way to disable the sound on that 'this is not a joke you are the 100K visitor"??
Am I the only one experiencing problems with using smilies today? When I click on them nothing happens and when I click on nothing happens either. Anyone else having the same issue? Also there appears to be a problem with spacing between my comments, for example I have spaced this line ten places under the smiley issue. I've tried the "BR" codes too and it's still and issue.
Maaaaaaake it stoooppppp!!!
Is this true? If so, it's really not cool http://forums.nyyfans.com/showthread.php?p=6674597#post6674597
Internet explorer can not open the internet site...(url) Operation aborted I'm getting the above message when opening some threads, it seems as if it's a specific post that causes this because when the thread goes to the next page, I don't have a problem. Anyone know what this is about?
Can we get rid of that ad with the girl with the disgusting teeth before I puke all over my keyboard? Totally unnecessary, and I will never look at that ad long enough to find out what they're failing to sell me.
I used to be able to see the Game Day threads category, but now I dont see it after I login. Has it been removed during the offseason or have I been banned?
I've run into a new bug on the website today when posting a quick reply. On three separate occasions in three different threads, when I wrote a quick reply post my message was posted 10 times in the thread. Yes, exactly ten copies with the same datestamp after clicking just once. After refreshing the page, 8 copies were gone but I was left with 2 duplicate posts and I had to delete one of them. Today is the first time this happened
Just in looking at them, I was surprised to see Yankee Legends dont include Mantle, Gehrig, Ruth and DiMaggio at the very least. (not to mention, Ford, Berra, Martin etc) While I respect that Munson is a Yankee legend, to have Bucky Dent ahead of those guys is a slap in the face to them. Just my 2 cents.
What's the reasoning behind the bizarre change to the PS? How are we supposed to have any kind of discussion at all, on any subject?
350 Members 550 Guests I can't negotiate the Site without being kicked out. I've had countless database errors and a few freezes. It's understandable with this volume of people viewing the Site. Perhaps we can make this member-only for the time being as it has been in the past during these high volume times?
Mods - is there any way to add these back on the main page? We missed NJ fan's birthday and I think we're going to miss a lot more...I really like that part of our community here - being able to wish everyone a happy birthday. :) I tried clicking on the calendar feature to check it out - but it's a December 2006 calendar and i don't think it will capture anyone who joined later than that...also, I tried to change the month/year to November 2009 and it won't let me change it for some reason?...
This has happened to me twice - on two different computers on two separate networks (one of which is a school owned computer, so it's not infected by me or anything). I was browsing the forum and when I clicked a thread title to open it, I was redirected to some website called "China on TV." :dunno: EDIT: It's not really a pop up ad either, it opens in the same window and same tab.
Does anyone else have trouble with the "go to new post" arrow links when on this site using Google Chrome? It never remembers the last post I read. I'm wondering if it's something that I'm doing or it's a problem with Chrome and this site.
