Forum: The Suggestion Box - Forum Help

Any chance we could: 1) Have the search restored for all the forums? 2) Have the Birthday Calendar updated to the present? 3) Have the ability to view more that 25 posts per page? These were all things that were available in the past. Thanks in advance for looking into these requests.

And how can I get more?

I have my options set to receive emails when someone responds to a thread in which I've posted. It's always worked well. Beginning yesterday, I began receiving blank notifications-- no title, nothing in the message: Just to let you know, I hadn't visited the forum at all yesterday, so maybe that has something to do with it-- I don't know. Usually it just doesn't send another notification until I've visited again.

As most of you saw yesterday, we had some downtime and lost some posts. This was unfortunate, but it was part of the process of moving to a new server. That process is over, but there are still some tweaks going on behind the scenes. I apologize for any downtime during these times. -JF

I just read the above in the new mod draft thread and those changes sound really good, but if you're upgrading to that latest version of vbulletin I personally want nothing to do with it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE conduct a survey of your users before moving over. I've been on a handful of sites where they "upgraded" and it was the worst change ever made and they lost a lot of users. My suggestion, come up with a site or two that uses the new version you're thinking of and have people check it...

Whatever I click on, nothing is bolded so I don't know what I've read, what I didn't read, what's new, old etc. Am I the only one having this problem?

i think there needs to be a place where people can sell tickets for other teams besides the yankees. i mean it would be nice if i could find other team's tickets on here like the jets giants devils rangers nets or knicks or even rutgers. just something to consider because i think all sports fans would appreciate another source to buy tickets besides stubhub ticketmaster craigslist or ebay

Trying to post a poll. When I click the "post a poll" option, nothing happens. Do I have to submit the new thread before I can put the poll options in?

It seems to involve our George. Whenever I check a thread where's he's posted, I get a weird error message. It says: Not Found The requested URL /about<b></b>:blank was not found on this server. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. <HR><ADDRESS>Apache/1.3.33 Server at forums.nyyfans.com Port 80</ADDRESS><ADDRESS> </ADDRESS>

Just wondering...There are only 13 players left in the Performance threads. All the roster spots were represented before the purging. Seems odd.

...it's making me violent. It's commanding me to cause harm to my computer. I'd like to track down the creator(s) of this banner, force their eyelids to be in a retracted state, feed them nothing but stinky tofu, and make them to watch nothing but their ad for 30 days straight. Yes. I can stop it using Adblock Plus, but it's like the pain you get when you forget to floss for a week. It hurts so good that you can't stop.

Was it just my computer or was there something wrong with the server last night. I was following the game thread and somewhere in the 7th or 8th inning I got knocked off and could not get back on all the rest of the night. I was able to pull up other websites so I was online but could not get NYYFans. Anyone else have that problem?
