Who's coming up? Who's going down? What's happening with the Yankees Minor League clubs?
He entered the game at Tampa and never threw a pitch? Was he hurt?
Kei Igawa leads Scranton vs. Lehigh Valley and J. Happ. Trenton takes on Binghamton Tampa is off. And Charleston plays as well. WOO HOO! I now have 5 Yankee Teams to follow!
Hey guys, Those of you who know me here, I hope you realize that I'm not one to do this typically. Myself, and my partner, who has scouting experience with a team as I do, started a scouting oriented website called http://saberscouting.com . It's mostly traditional reports with a dash of statistical input as well. I do not like to plug stuff, and usually never did for PinstripesPlus so don't kill me, lol. But, I genuinely think this crowd here will like it. We have a lot of...

I can NEVER remember the Yankees having so many position battles in the minor league system. Last year it was the pitchers seeing who could be the one or few to get promoted. This year we have: Miranda vs Duncan All the SS and 2b's fighting for jobs Montero vs Romine Vech vs the players coming to take his job The Dominican outfielders

Apologies if I am supposed to wait for gdn to put this up, but I thought this was a pretty fun thread last year. General Categories: For Starters: Most Wins Most Strikeouts Best BB/9 Lowest ERA
AUSTIN, Texas — No surprise Saturday to see Roger Clemens on the Texas sideline. Joba Chamberlain? Now that's a different story. The former All-America pitcher at Nebraska stood with his New York Yankees teammates on the UT sideline in the first half with Clemens' two youngest boys, Kody, 13, and Kacy, 11. Clemens, who pitched for the Longhorns in 1982 and 1983, wore a burnt orange shirt and UT visor with his baseball number from college, 21, stitched into the side. Chamberlain,...

11th round draft pick last year I beleive. I was intrigued by him cause he is smallish, but supposedly has a real power fastball and great changeup. ANyone know anything more about him or how he is faring this Spring?
I've been here for quite a few years and this is the most boring that I have seen this Forum. The other teams prospect thread has the most entries. Gardner just hit a HR and had a great Spring Training. He is putting pressure on the Yankee outfielders. Nobody could be bothered mentioning it. Horne is pitching lights out at Spring Training, Duncan is batting 325, maybe he finally sees the light. The BP at SWB has impressive depth. Cervelli was badly set back by his broken wrist, will...

He put up nice numbers last year and appears to be doing well this spring. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether he is a legitimate major league prospect?
I am curious to know what is going on with some of our young studs down in Tampa, but I don't feel like rifling through other threads to get an idea of what is happening. And because I have no idea what is happening, I have nothing of substance to add, but I am sure some of you guys do. Is anyone impressing so far? Is anyone disappointing? Injuries? How are the sleepers to make the big league roster performing? Talk about all that stuff here.
I decided he needed his own thread for news, information, etc. Anybody hear anything? Feel free to post whatever you want regarding Edward Salcedo here!

I have recently completed coverting Baby-Bombers.com to HD. Tell me what you think. Also I have been working out the details on the Baby-Bombers.com Magazine, which will be only one 50-page issue and contain many articles, statistics, and information on the team.
Padres have returned Gardner. One the one hand it's too bad he struggled, on the other he's one more arm to add to the bullpen depth chart! http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080319&content_id=2445225&vkey=spt2008news&fext=.jsp&c_id=nyy
I recall someone posting a link to a .pdf from the yankees site that had a comprehensive list of all the current minor leaguers and their bios/statistics. I've been digging through some threads but I can't seem to find it. Any help?

Moeller told reporters at the Yankees spring training complex in Tampa that he expects to begin the season with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre."
