If only we played these guys 82 times, we'd go undefeated.
It really is puzzling seeing the Rangers suck against everyone yet being able to beat the living sh*t out of the Isles every time.
I enjoyed seeing the tempers flare at the end too. What Purinton did was cheap but it was still sweet seeing him deck Cairns. Simon whooped some ass and Messier made Blake's face look so red I thought his head was gonna explode.
Happy Birthday Mick :) :gulp:
What's your favorite?
It's always nice to see a Philthy team choke
Play the Islanders for 82 games.
Looks like the Bronco's and Redskins are working on a trade that would send Clinton Portis to the Redskins in exchange for Champ Bailey and a 2nd round draft pick.
Personally i think this is a bad deal for Denver since they would loose their best overall offensive player but that's just my opinion.
Wow! Can't believe this.
Toto we not in Edmonton anymore
Sather steps down as Rangers coach; remains president/GM
I called this kind of game a day ago talking to a friend.
So, I wonder who will be the first to go? Hopefully Sather. &po'd&
WAKE UP, DOLAN!!!
7 years, $43.3M (which means he's done in 3 or 4 years max... that is a stupid number for a guy who's already 34, in my opinion), and I know Ramsey is openly unhappy at the prospect of being replaced as starter. I smell discord in Redskins country... (awesome!)
Another reason to hate the Ravens...as if destroying the Giants in the Super Bowl with a horrible QB (worst to ever win a super bowl), an asshat over-confident coach, and...oh yeah a murderer (with talent) in Ray Lewis. Now the best rusher last year has been indicted in a cocaine distribution ring. Way to go fellas!
I am sick of this kid. I'm not a jealous person, but it's not fair for someone like him to have all these chances. Lets look at his "career".
After a decent freshman year and what does he do? Not play the next year. During that year he proceeds to cheat on an exam, and buddy up with a known bookie. No sweat, just return for your junior year and play for us.
But no, Maurice wants to play for the big boys. However the NFL said "No, you aren't eligable, you've only played one college...
so they can edit out all innapropriate things because of the recent nfl half time show contreversy
Apparently the rasheed wallace and mike james trade wasnt finished or something and since they played they were illegal players so they fined the pistons
I'll be damned, but they have now won 13 games in a row. 12 of those games under new coach Lawrence Franks. The team is playing the best basketball of they have ever played. Their defense is just killing teams. I know lots of people were not happy that Byron Scott was fired after all his success, but look at this team now. Just amazing.
i think santana moss should have made the pro-bowl your thoughts??
Boston gets: Chucky Atkins, Lindsey Hunter and the Pistons first round pick this year.
Detroit gets: Rasheed Wallace and Mike James
Atlanta gets: Chris Mills, Zeljko Rebraca, Bob Sura and the Bucks first round pick owed to Detroit.
Reported by ESPN's Chad Ford
In November, many of us Islanders fans felt the hopes of playoffs slipping away. They played sloppy and were embarrassing. Now, however, we seem to have a different team.
The Rick has taken over as the number one goalie. The Isles are still winning games with the absences of Yashin and Parrish. Everyone has stepped it up and they are playing like a Stanley Cup team. Last night's game proved that for me. They trailed 3-1 with 5 minutes and change left in the third period and the...
"After months of speculation about its future, ESPN's originally scripted series about a fictional professional football team will not return, a company official said Wednesday. One of the main reasons for cutting the series after the first season was the reaction from the NFL brass."
Personally, Im glad the show was cancelled.....first, it was not a very good show, second.......very unrealistic. I think they tried to push way too many...
INDIANAPOLIS -- For the first time in history, the NFL salary cap will top $80 million in 2004, league and union officials confirmed.
At a meeting in Dallas late in the 2003 season, club officials were told to plan for a cap of about $78.7 million. Instead, the spending limit for the '04 season will be approximately $80.5 million.
While that might not seem a very significant amount, the nearly $2 million...
BTW is there going to be a NFL 2004 sub forum?
With NFL teams hard at work evaluating their rosters and planning for free agency and the draft, Scouts, Inc., has compiled a list of players whose situations could be in flux.
Large salaries or pending bonuses, coupled with reduced production, the development of younger players or simply a change in organizational philosophy could have these players facing contract restructuring or the open market.

Michael Kay just announced that starting with the 2004/2005 season, 1050 ESPN Radio will be the home of the NY Knicks and NY Rangers...a huge hit to WFAN.
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The parents of a Tucson High basketball player left partially paralyzed from injuries suffered in a postgame celebration say they do not plan to take legal action on their son's behalf.
Joe Kay, a 6-foot-5 senior, sat in a chair, spoke, and ate well Tuesday, the Arizona Republic reported. It's been five days since Kay suffered a fractured jaw and a torn carotid artery, and subsequently a stroke after being overcome...
