http://nfl.com/teams/story/WAS/7144930 CB Springs comes home to Redskins WASHINGTON (March 4, 2004) -- Shawn Springs was introduced as the Washington Redskins' new cornerback on March 4. It will be a homecoming for the seven-year veteran, who grew up in Silver Spring, Md., and went to high school at Springbrook High School.
What do you think, Natalie and others? (Terry Glenn and Keyshawn together? A couple of model teammates there....)
It's about time. Dead weight needs to be removed. Brian Leech is a shadow of his former self, and while he's always been a good puck handler and offensive defensemen, his defense was always the finesse style of defese, which is working less and less in the NHL these days. As much as I like the man, I've been less that crazy about him as a player these past few years, and he's not getting any younger. Rather than let him retire a Ranger, we get some young talent and a couple of draft picks...

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=1750074 So much for the contentions from some Redskins officials that the spendthrift franchise would exercise a degree of restraint on the opening day of free agency. Restraint lasted only about one-half day for owner Daniel Snyder. ESPN.com has learned the Redskins have begun the refurbishing of their defense by reaching agreement in principle with unrestricted free agent Cornelius Griffin, a tackle who spent the...
Just announced during the Knicks game. Leetch to the Leafs for 2 prospects and 2 draft picks :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
I think it's abundantly clear that St. Joes deserved to lose Saturday. Not only did they have their worst shooting performance of the year, they ran into a team with something to prove. URI was pumped up for the first national broadcast on ESPN in their new home, along with **** Vitale's first visit to the campus. Nobody will argue who the more talented team is, but for URI to stay in this game and play them as tough as they did, it says alot about Rhody basketball. URI beat St. Joes at...
As a Celts fan, I am disgusted with Ainge has done to the most successful team in NBA history. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=bloc/040223
Is this true or rumor?? (please let it be true)
http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/SF/7136414 Bye bye, Jeff. Hearst also released. Good move, Barlow is great. http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/SF/7121662
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=1740926 Dolphins acquire Philly QB...Miami has reportedly acquired QB A.J. Feeley from Philadelphia in exchange for what is believed to be a conditional second round pick in 2005. The deal can not be formally announced, however, until the NFL trading period begins on March 3rd. With the acquisition of Feeley, the Dolphins are likely out of the chase to acquire QB Drew Henson from Houston. Miami had reportedly been one...
Keep it going Knicks!!! Beat Dallas Tonight... We are on a roll....and on our way to .500 then the playoffs... LEt's GO Knicks!!!! Side note: Ranger's get your head's out of your asses ( and let's win....!)
someone who can score in the half court offense. The nets have become completely one demensional. Yes, their fast break is amazing, one of the top 5 in the league. But, if the other team doesn't miss, or hustles back on D - then the Nets are stuck running their half court offense. Has anyone been watching?? Things get very ugly for the Nets once the game slows down. As good as JKidd is in transition, he is terrible running their offense. Who is their "go to" scorer when they aren't...
Charles Wang just came on with Mike and the Dog with the following promotion: If you buy season tickets for the 2004-05 season, you get FREE tickets for all home games in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Payment is due 1/3 March 21, 1/3 April 21 and 1/3 August 22. Okay what happens if there is no season or abbreviated season next year? You get a FULL refund PLUS 2% for all unplayed games which is about what you'd get in the bank these days anyway. And if somehow the Isles blow their 9...
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=1732822 For the first time since the 2000 college football season, Charley Casserly watched Drew Henson throw a ball with laces, not seams, on Wednesday morning. What was the verdict of the Texans' general manager following a workout at the club's training complex in Houston, where Henson prepped for the final time before a Thursday audition in front of dozens of NFL coaches, personnel directors and scouts? "He...
To all Rangers fans I have a question. With the problems the Rangers have had this year with their goalies, why haven't they brought up Blakburn? I think he was injured late last year? But is he healthy know and if so he should be up here.
I think the knicks have wheeled and dealed just a little too much.. While i like the things tim thomas brings to the table, his athleticism, his ability to drive / post... basically do it all... i don't' think he's as good a shooter as van horn. why is this important? when the knicks were successful when marbury first came, van horn and houston were able to spread the floor for starbury... he'd break the D down and kick it out. we'd have shooters all over the place to knock down the open...

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=1750089 In a sudden turn of events, free agent defensive end Jevon Kearse reached an eight-year, $66 million agreement with the Eagles on Wednesday, ESPN.com has learned. Kearse will get a $16 million signing bonus and $4 million in roster bonuses that he will collect in the first two years of the deal.
Does anybody care about hockey at all?? I understand that it is a hard sport to watch on television, but there is nothing better in person. Anyone else a hockey fan??
You swept us in the season series. So, I will just chant what they chanted on the Island tonight. OUT OF PLAYOFFS!!! *CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP* OUT OF PLAYOFFS!!! *CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP* OUT OF PLAYOFFS!!! *CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP* OUT OF PLAYOFFS!!! *CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*
Ya know, if they hadn't done it five times before this, I'd think I was psychic. Another loss coming off an Islander win. Sweet penalty by Kovalev in OT lol. Lord.
