Disappointing season is over, time to look ahead - probably to more disappointment, but I digress. First bit of offseason news pertaining to the upcoming season: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=322640
Okay folks, Another season. Another thread. From coaching changes and recruiting in January 2010 to the BCS National Championship Game from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on January 8, 2011, you can post here. Have at it.
If you're a huge mixed martial arts fan in the UFC, Pride FC, or other MMA competitions, you can discuss MMA here in this thread. For UFC fans, you can catch UFC action and shows on Spike TV. For Pride FC fans, you can watch PRIDE on your cable box only on Fox Sports Net, or simply FSN. I'm a huge fan of both UFC and PRIDE. :2thumbs: :)
The Isles signed D Mark Eaton. Yay!
Out from one of the worst cap situations the league has ever seen. Finally. Onward and upward!
Based on the fact that Notre Dame football consumes roughly 70% of the NCAA Div 1 Football thread, I think it would be appropriate to have its own thread. Go, Irish!!!
Okay folks, It's time for a new thread and a new season in the NHL. From the 2010 NHL Draft to the Final Shot in the Stanley Cup finals, you can follow here. www.nhl.com
After the successful debut of covering all four top levels of English Club Football/Soccer (yes, the EPL, Championship, League One and League Two) and the FA and Football League Cups, it's time for another season. From the summer transfer markets during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in June to the final whistles in the Football League Play-Offs in May-June 2011, you can talk shop about it.
*Not including the World Cup. This is pretty much a thread for essentially any club soccer outside of England. So including the Champions League, MLS, Bundesliga, whatever.
Hello everyone, The final major in the tennis season is up for another year from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York. August 30-September 12 http://www.usopen.org/en_US/index.html
Another year, another season for the Association, the National Basketball Association. From the NBA Draft to the NBA Finals, you can post and discuss here. www.nba.com
A friend of mine who has Jets and Giants season tickets told me he is listing his seats on ticketmaster's NFL ticket exchange. Evidently the NFL ticket exchage will not allow them to list them below a set minimum price, which is face. They can only sell for face or above.
Okay football (soccer) fans, It's time for another UEFA European Football Tournament. It's UEFA Euro 2012 taking place in Poland and Ukraine. From the opening round draws on February 7, 2010 to the final whistle on July 1, 2012, you can talk smack about it. It is also the last time that the UEFA European Football Tournament will have sixteen teams competing because in UEFA Euro 2016, the competition will expand to a field of 24.
Anybody catch the "Thunder From Down Under" beat the crap out of Sharba Mitchell on Saturday? The real, undisputed 140lb champ is back!
I'm a pretty big Rutgers fan, alumni, season ticket holder etc. and the general consensus in the fand I've chatted with is that the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers will most likely be headed to the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Pinstripe Bowl takes the #4 team from the Big East. The way I see it, Rutgers will very likely go either 7-5 or maybe 8-5 which would put them smack dab in the middle of the Big East with a very strong possibility of being 4th in the Big East. The only way this...
I cant believe that parking for tonights Jets and Redskins game is $50 at the stadium. Absolutely crazy. Add in the fact that scalpers were selling lower level seats with a $140 face for $40 ($100 loss per ticket) and you can see how bad these new PSL holders are getting the shaft.
Made for Joba-Walkee.
Seeing how Wrestlemania 21 was almost a year ago....I figured its time to start an actual wrestling thread.
PGA is jokes. Just cost Dustin Johnson a chance in a playoff. what a ................ing joke.
I aqm tired of WFAN and 1050 ignoring hockey, while talking about that neanderthal sport called the NBA. The NHL is a tough sport to play and the prize, the Stanley Cup, is the most coveted in sports. The NBA..wow...some trophy awarded since 1950. Vote.

The race might not be Tour de Lance anymore, but seven-time winner Lance Armstrong will look to make it back to the Top 3 in 2010. July 3-25, 2010 on Versus Official Website: http://www.letour.fr/
Since the World Cup thread went so well. I thought I'd make another cricket thread. I know Nash, Ajra and Gdn are fans. Humph and Blokee are you also fans? Anyway I'll start it off with I saw in the paper a few days ago. It's a bit insane, but I'll post it anway. He must be bored with retirement already.
Spurs pull of a pretty big trade. The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto, a Bucks source told ESPN.com. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4281291
The Giants or the Jets? And when is Rex gonna shut up?
