:birthday: I also hope that you have a wonderful birthday. :)
What are my rights exactly when it comes to privacy? I live with a roommate, he filled out the census and included me in it. He mailed it in after filling it out, yet we still have a woman and now a man harassing our lives at my house? They ring the bell everyday, leaving notes for me to call. I think they actually left their home number. So even with our survey mailed in, my roommate informed the census taker that he mailed it in...the census guy said he still had to come and do a...
I have no clue. But I heard rumor that it did. :) Congrats A-Rod.
This is what I should call internet losers who take themselves too seriously. Some guy named "Steve" calling from MensWear House somehow got my phone # and told me to "stay off LOHUD blog, stay off LOHUD blog". This is really quite scary because I have NO clue how he got my phone #. I use my real name there, but not my last name . I refuse to be scared away from the blog, but this is disturbing.
All things Fantasy Football. Drafts are coming up shortly. Chris Johnson will probably be the number 1 pick in the majority of drafts I would think. What is your draft philosophy? Running backs first, going for the number 1 QB.
Does anyone else ever watch this week of cool programming on the Discovery Channel? I admit, I love sharks - they are one of my favorite animals, especially Great Whites. The only problem I have with Shark Week is that they devote too many new shows to shark attacks......which I have no interest in seeing. With all the different species out there and the misconception of the animals, there should be plenty of information for new shows.
Happy Birthday Deb! :birthday:
Has anyone tried to use their iPod Touch with a bluetooth ear piece? I was hoping I could use a bluetooth headset (one that can transmit music like the Jabra Extreme) to use with the newer Ipod Touch that has bluetooth in it, instead of my wired headphones. I can't get any of my bluetooth devices to be found on the iPod. Is there a specific device that is compatible or am I doing something wrong?
Happy birthday to the nicest Red Sox fan there is. Hope you have an awesome day today Denise. Enjoy!
Happy birthday to one of my bestest forum buds and an all-around awesome chickie! Love you, Girl! :gulp:

Haven't really been following much about the production of Thor. However Aintitcool has delivered just over 5 minutes of the footage they were showing at comic-con. I forgot Anthony Hopkins had been cast as Odin. http://aintitcool.com/node/45950
For those of you who dig the Pearl Jam, check out this detailed cover story from Rolling Stone magazine. It was a VERY GOOD read. Enjoy! http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10533095/the_second_coming_of_pearl_jam
So, you thought you could hide, hmmmm? ;) Wishing one of my favorite Red Sox Ladies a great birthday - it's been a pleasure getting to know you here. Hope the family treats you well (a/k/a doesn't drive you nuts) today and you get almost everything you want! Keep smiling and celebrate...:gulp:
I'm really getting annoyed with Time Warner so I have a few questions to people who have Direct TV. 1st do you get YES and can you watch Yankee games? 2nd- Does anyone have internet through Direct TV and how is it? Honestly the only thing holding me to Time Warner is Road Runner but I am curious to how Direct TV is and especially if I can still watch the Yankees.
Wow, this is just an amazing find: http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/07/27/ansel.adams.discovery/?hpt=Sbin Can you imagine finding something of this value at a garage sale? Incredible story.
Thought I'd share. They're not amazing, but my Canon Powershot G3 does pretty well.
So I stuck it out til end of the game yesterday and I get back to my car near the subway in Brooklyn and my battery was dead. No problems before. I called AAA, they came in 40 minutes started it right away but the radio and clock didn't work, I get a message "Enter Code" someone told to call the dealer and get a code. I had called my sister as well from the corner where the car was, Then I checked the internet on my phone which worked when I left the Stadium as I was checking scores. I...

Set to debut this fall the next AMC show is based off the graphic novel series "The Walking Dead" about zombies. I found this article posted on another board so sorry I don't have a link (yet). AMC is 2 for 2 and I have high hopes for Rubicon (premiereing next month) so I 'm very excited about this show. Plus Frank Darabont kicks all sorts of ass.
Happy Birthday Eric! Hope you have a great day and wishing you the best always! Keep smiling and celebrate...:gulp:

Good vibes, prayers, whatever you believe in I will take. I haven't brought this up here, but a couple of months ago my dad was on a cruise and started getting dizzy and having problems with coordination. When he got back, the doctor found a tumor in his brain. Well they had the surgery and removed it, but as it turned out it was what you call a traveling tumor, which means the cancer actually was located elsewhere. They assumed lung cancer, and started radiation on his...
