I understand that the days and weeks after 9/11 was a time of raw emotions and what not but isn't it our ability to keep our emotions in check and being rational in a time when we're being tested what separates us from the terrorists? If not then how can we condemn little Ahmed for strapping a bomb to himself after watching his family being vaporized by a missile while they were attending a wedding. Sorry I'm a bit late with the rememberances today... last night was a late night thanks to Joba, Jeter, Girardi et al... I like to go through the 9-11 Time Capsule forum on this day every year.
For a while I figured this flick may not warrant a thread, until I saw it early Saturday afternoon. It has over-the-top profanity (the norm nowadays) to go along with gratuitous violence with a slight Hispanic exploitation vibe (the Hispanic equivalent of old "Blaxploitation films"). It's a spin off of Rodriguez' and Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse double feature set, and was executed well. It's definitely an acquired taste, but a fun movie to enjoy for those with a high tolerance for violent...

I got a Droid X about two weeks ago and I love it, but I have no clue what I'm doing with it. I've been out of the loop on new technology for a few years. I need some help if anyone here is caught up on this stuff. My girlfriend is in the market for a new TV right now and tasked me to make sure she doesn't get ripped off. She's seems happy with the sizes between 46"-50". Looking around $1500. Anyone? No chance for me. I don't have $600 for a phone. Also, I would rather wait on the later versions after all the bugs have been worked out. I did go to the local Apple store to check it out and it's very cool (for playing with it for 5 minutes). I don't think it's such a big deal to have to carry my phone and my ipod as two units, but that's just me. Plus my ipod is full so why would I downgrade to 8gb?
