I have a friend who wants to go to the movies tonight and mentioned this (Johnny Knoxville - Special Olympics). Go or no go?

So I used AVG and now it's not working for me. So does anyone know of any good free anti-virus programs?
I'm not a Bill O'Reilly fan, but I thought Letterman went out of his way to act like an asshole in that interview.
So you are stranded somewhere with a tv, a dvd player, and the complete collection of ONE show. What's it gonna be? Do you pick a sit-com or an hour long drama? Do you go with one that lasted longer simply because it provides more variety? Do you pick something you have never even watched just so it is all new? I think, if I had to decide right now, I would take Friends. It went ten season, and was good all ten of them. The only other show I would consider is The X-Files, but there are so...
Here are some funny courtroom quotes from lawyers and people on the stand: courtroom gaffes
I have spent a lot of time over the past day trying to figure out how to do this. I have my desktop picture on the TV screen with perfect color and size, but nothing else. Does anyone know how to help me, or where I can get help? I've asked at some computer forums, but they want me to keep downloading stuff and deleting others. Too risky for me.
Was it too long? Yes, but any 3 hour movie is too long. This movie was light years better than the first remake of the classic. Plot holes? Of course, but what fantasy film doesn't? Was it a perfect movie? No. I have problems with several things about Jackson's film. While there were many sublime moments, there were quite a few ridiculous ones as well. Jackson seems to have fallen into the same trap as Spielberg, Lucas and Cameron. He is so in love with CGI, that he fails to honor the...
It probably seemed like a good idea at the ti..okay, it was stupid.
Well i logged on to XBOX live and they are still updating rosters..hopefully they do this all next season so we can keep our rosters up to date. They even had Marte on the red sox
What are all the forumer's doing for New Years Eve on Saturday night? Not sure about what I'm doing. I hate going to over-priced bars/clubs paying 3 times the normal cover for $8 bottle of champagne toast at midnight. I'd much rather go to a party or even just stay in. New Years is always blown out of proportion and never lives up to the hype (at least in my experineces).
OK, think I've been here long enough to post this ;) (Please, do not turn this into a religious thread, or it will be closed, OK?) There is a wonderful program called FFA--Franciscan Family Apostolate which is run by the SFO in India. For $25/month (I think you can give less--not sure, TBH) you can sponsor a family over there. My wife and I have been sponsoring a family since 1998, I think. The first family we had graduated--ie, they became self sufficient :) Our second family is starting...
It was initally reported that 12 of the 13 miners had survived, but now, it's just been confirmed that only one survived. Families were actually told that their loved ones were alive, as well. :( Sorry about no link, it's breaking news on CNN.
As a reminder for all Reality TV fans: Season 11 of Survivor will be in Guatemala. According to previews, there will be, not only 1 twist, but 2 twists. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor11/ Premieres Thursday, September 15TH, 2005 8 PM ET/PT only on CBS.
Her Birthday is actually tomorrow; I just wanted to make sure I got the rights to the Thread! :D I want to take this time to wish my very favorite NYYFANS bitch a VERY HAPPY Birth Anniversary! I Loves my Trishie! :) Happy Birthday, Trish! I hope you have a great day and great year! :gulp: :gulp: :gulp:
Everytime I click a link containing a PDF file, my firefox browser freezes and crashes. Anyone else having this and more importantly anyone know of a fix?
I saw that it was your birthday and I noticed no one started a birthday thread for you, so here it is. In the event that you come by and just visit the forums, :birthday: :birthday: I wish you'd come back, though. We miss your wit. :)
http://www.allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=5193 You heard it hear first. My how the mighty have fallen.
For you personally, how was the last year?
when their ESU (Emergency Service Unit) drove off the drawbridge connecting to Kearny, I think. It was by Communipaw Ave and the 1-9 driveway, near Route 440 in Jersey City, NJ. An ESU is like a swat truck about the size of a medium-sized ambulance. It was on Fox News last night, and there were the Coast Guard, cops from Bergen County, even the NYPD there. The water temperature was about 41°F, so the hope for survival was very low. Very sad news to hear. R-I-P :( :( :( R-I-P :( :( :(
Homies, was looking to plan an extended weekend w/ the wife and some close friends. Looking for something in either NY/NJ or PA (but not too out there) where its scenic and there are some cool lodges and its not outrageously priced (also, the more lowkey the crowds, the better, but I realize that's tough to predict.) Looking to mostly relax and drink and enjoy the scenery (w/ maybe some skiing ;) ) Was about to Google it, but any personal recommendations out there? Thanks a bunch.
Any recommendations on an aftermarket GPS, preferably, one with voice instructions? Also I'd like to hear some pros and cons on the system you might have, how accurate it is, user friendliness, cost, etc.. If you don't have one, we can still use this thread to hear your thoughts about them in general.
Yep. No joke. Sort of... http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/News/International/2006/01/01/1374907-sun.html What that story doesn't mention is that the dolphin's name was Cindy.
...in golf, that is. :D I know this should be in the "Other Sports" Forum, but I wanted to brag to as many people as possible. Sorry, but this is a major accomplishment for me. If a mod wants to move it - that's fine. I have shot even par (72) once, one over once, and several 74s, but Friday I shot 69 on a par 72 course! Just got back from my annual Fall golf trip with my golfing buddies and had to boast to my fellow golf enthusiast on NYYF forum. I admit that the course was a little...
