Well, I see GHR714 picked up Kolb. There goes his WHIP and ERA. ;) After 3 straight negative weeks by the Knights, the top of the standings is closer than it's been in 5 weeks.

I had to put Nick Johnson on the DL and pick up a FA. They system told me I had too many players -- 33 -- and the maximum was 32. (I had 23 active, 4 DL and 5 minors). So I dropped Durazo, with a salary of $4. However, checking the rules: Roster Limits: Active: 23 Reserve: 0 Injured: 6 Minors: 5 Total: 32

(At least let's be in the right week! :lol: :D) Damn...after being healthy for most of the season -- really only Benitez on the DL -- I'm now at 6 players on the DL: Benitez, Cesar Izturis, Nick Johnson, Ryan Church, Erubiel Durazo and Adam Eaton. Like I said all year, I doubt by good luck will last... :( :-po'd-:

I am going to start fixing lineups tonight, adding real players for placeholders wherever possible...

The Auction will be on Friday, March 24th at 10pm. Yes, 10pm is a little late, but with keepers we should still be done in 2-2.5 hours, plus it's a Friday. Also, after nominating that date, I found out I might have a meeting at 7pm that day, so instead of 9pm I am making it at 10pm. If I find out the meeting is cancelled, I can switch it back to 9pm if that's better for people.

A few teams have not checked in, or not paid. If you would like to be in the league this year, please post your e-mail address here. Returning owners, get your money in ASAP. Invitations to expansion owners will go out as soon as I can...don't miss out. If you need me to re-send the invoice, let me know.

I am working on cleaning up our rules from last year. Some things that may be different from last year: 1) Waivers. We discussed it last year, they were supposed to be turned on, but it never happened. This year, there is a 3-day waiver period when a player is released. If a player is claimed off waivers, his salary stays the same if $10 or over; or is raised to $10 if it was $9 or less. If a player clears waivers, and becomes a free agent, his salary is $10. The initial waiver order is...

OK...the deadline to declare keepers is going to be March 18th at 11:59pm, which gives us just under a week before the auction (March 24th). In this league, you cannot do add/drops until Opening Day -- otherwise known as "Free for All Day". Waivers have been started, but any claims made prior to Opening Day -- which is Tuesday, March 25th -- will be reversed. A day begins at 12:01am, by the clock in my living room (an atomic clock). Now...time for sleep.

The Minor League draft will begin on Tuesday, April 1 at 9am Eastern Daylight Time. Teams will have 12 hours to make picks. Minor League rosters will be considered 'frozen' as of 5pm Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, March 31st. That means that if you promote a player from your mL roster to your active ML roster after that time, you will not receive an extra pick in the mL draft. I will include a list of players on rosters who have mL eligibility so that they are not accidentally picked.

Use this thread to make your picks. Picks should be in BOLD, 6 POINT FONT with the player's name, team and position. For example: Danny Bosavage, Yankees, P Players with Rookie Eligibility (50 IP, 130 AB) who are currently on rosters: Adenhart, Nick SP ANA Bailey, Homer SP CIN

Once a player is activated off the DL (and makes an appearance) you have 7 days to move them to your active roster, or they will be dropped from your team...
