This is killing me. I've got a meeting that starts just about the same time as the game does, and will run a couple hours. [You guys will just need to cheer them on without me.] Then, after my meeting, I need to avoid the radio until I get home, so I can watch the game from the beginning without knowing what happened.

I'm completely jumpy about this starting. Last year I just felt exhausted, but this year I'm way nervous.
Anyone doing anything superstitious for the playoffs?
I went through my two scorebooks. In one was a bunch of playoff games from last year, which was bad -- so I flipped through my other book and the Yankees won every game I scored in that book. Hopefully it will continue to be lucky. If not I may have to buy a new book :lol:.

He seemed to be pretty upbeat about his arm when Kay interviewed him on the YES postgame. The one inning thing is to protect his arm, but he said, if he thought it was needed, he'd beg Torre to pitch him in more than an inning..
