Robertson's performance reminds me of something Smoltz said after the 99 WS. He said that he never felt that he pitched poorly, but the Yankees just grinded and grinded and were able to beat him.

Are Stanton and Nelson the most overrated players from the dynasty teams? I swear we could have Mo, Nathan, K-Rod and Papelbon in the pen and the media would be talking about how our pen is nothing compared to the dynasty teams' pens.
weve hardly had a pen close to having nathan, papelbon, etc. this is probbaly the best pen since the dynasty and do you really trust anybody but mo and proctor ?? villone is shot and farnsworth and bruney you dont know what youre going to get.
they should probbaly be giving proctor more credit. other then that rosenthal was right. and really he just pointed out that proctor could be overworked.

Just wanted to chime in to say that no matter what the relief pitchers do, Joe really needs to leave Wang in, at least for another batter. Really bad move.
Think the idea is to conserve Wang's arm here. Don't want to push him too far in game 1 of the ALDS.

Torre's a genius.
Good job by Wang, but I don't like the way Joe has managed thus far. First he drops the best hitter on the team to 6th, then he gets Proctor up for no reason, now he takes out Wang with a 4 run lead to match up for Curtis Granderson with 2 outs in the 7th and Wang not having thrown that many pitches.
