Hi everyone.
I'm not going to be around for the final game (no loss there)... but I wanted to say thanks to everyone in the game thread for making this regular season so enjoyable. It's been a joy (well, most of the time anyway) to sit here in the game thread stands and sharing the journey of the 162 game season with you all. Thanks for the companionship, the jokes, the insights, the passion, and if you don't know it already, you truly are a great bunch.
...... and like I used to always say 30 seconds after tearing open my presents on Christmas morning, I can hardly wait until next year.

For us to play Detroit, they would have to lose and the Twins would have to win. Any other combination of results means that we play the Twins (ie both teams lose, Tigers win and Twins lose, or Tigers and Twins both win).

Look, I don't feel so strongly about it that I think it's worth an argument, but the RBI single doesn't change my mind about him. If he was the stellar defender he's sometimes made out to be, that would be one thing. But he's not.
