Where were you on Wednesday night?

Yankee bullpen is getting owned today.

I was watching proctor throw 97, have the 10 mph differential on his change, but have a few control problems. That happens to every single pitcher in baseball. His control was off and he left an offspeed pitch over the plate. If his velocity was gone I'd be worried about the dead arm concern, but his velocity was there.

Nope. I can't even watch the obligatory duplicated Munson footage in the Yankeeographies of every Yankee who played or managed in the 1970s.

"It's Billy Martin's Yankeeography, in which 10 minutes will be about Thurman Munson dying."

"It's Lou Piniella's Yankeeography, in which 10 minutes will be about Thurman Munson dying."

"It's Bobby Murcer's Yankeeography, in which 10 minutes will be about Thurman Munson dying."

"It's Willie Randolph's Yankeeography, in which 10 minutes will be about Thurman Munson dying."

"It's Ron Guidry's Yankeeography, in which 10 minutes will be about Thurman Munson dying."

I haven't seen Nettles yet, but I can guess what 10 minutes of it will be about.

It will all depend on whether ESPN Asia is carrying the game, one can reasonably assume the Yankee games are one of the 2 or 3 clubs of most interest to them.. worth a shot whenever other options aren't available.

Also note the other tip: hit the button of their vid screen in lower right and play it via WMP with far easier and better control....

I dont think you can blame Torre for Quantrill. In the previous few years quantrill had as many or more appearances than he did in 04 for Torre. I think alot of Quantrill's downfall had to do with that knee injury and his age.

Yes it is wildly overmodulated
Their own Sopcast player makes volume control difficult.. hit the button in righthand corner and it streams to your WMP and you can turn the volume way down, but it remains distorted at any level.

I thought the home half of the inning has to be completed in order for those numbers to be official?

They changed that rule several years ago - I guess there were a couple of controversal score reversals where one team went ahead and had thier leads taken away, so they changed the rule so that the whatever the score is at the time the game is called - that's the score.

I remember the Yankees getting screwed out of a lead under the old rules once, many moons ago in the late-70s, so I have no problem with the new system.

Oh well. We get 'em tomorrow.

oh well..

im sure he is as well. but at least this saves some insult to injury. hopefully this is a lesson learned. with boston unable to win a game without having it literally handed to them (rios), and the cake schedule we have for the rest of the month, i wouldnt mind seeing villone take a trip to the 15 day to completely rest and treat his shoulder with whatever it may need (extensive massage treatment, ice treatment, whatever)

i'd like to see proctor pitch maybe once a week from here on out and let karstens, bruney, dotel, beam, myers, rasner, farns and wright make up our relief corps from here on out

Take it easy there, buddy. Ortiz and Manny will come back eventually.

Proctor once a week isnt something I'd personally recommend. Besides, the sooner we wrap this up, our guys could get 8+ consecutive games to rest at the end of the season.
