One player (1B) for Saudi Arabia is 13-years-old, 6'8", and wears a size 19 shoe. He is a GIANT. They compared him to Shaq at the same age, and Shaq was 6'6" and wore a size 16 shoe. No joke. That is one HUGE kid. Hershiser was saying they should talk about height/size restrictions and not just age restrictions.

I do. A-rod's had a LOT of errors this year and chances are he might have another one tonight.....now if he does and its a Moose start, its not gonna look good and A-rod's gonna be labled as the sole reason Moose didn't get 20 this year. To prevent that Joe DHs him today. I think its an excellent decision by Joe.

Yeah someone in a thread just said that Torre told Sterling on the pregame that he wants to give everyone half days off (DHing) because of the grueling schedule, so we can expect Jeter to have a day off soon too, etc. I didn't hear it myself.
I think the fact that Arod's happens to come at Mussina's night is not a coincidence, it's good managing by Torre, to create a perfectly normal circumstance to have ARod not in the field with Mussina pitching but not lose his bat. Torre is great at this type of thing imo.

I have been calling it such. There may never be a 5 game series again. We are already 3-3 in "massacring" (10+ runs and winning). For historic reasons alone, I'd love for it to be 5-5. It will be a series for the ages like the original if that happens.
Of course, it has to happen first. But we are in the middle of a massacre thats for sure. If it ends this way and becomes a great historic series for the books is yet to be seen.
