That was Rivera-esque.

Giambi is right on it. This is going to be interesting.
ARod HR will win us the gameJust get on base, A-Rod, when your turn comes ...

Wasn't crazy about the idea of Rivera pitching the 9th in a tie game on the road, but under the circumstances I understand Torre's reasoning. Farnsworth shelved, going for the jugular...all that stuff. I'd be tempted to let someone else pitch, though, if the Yankees don't score in the 10th.
Agree.... we're in the driver's seat no matter what, we need Mo for tom too.

Mo is going to be like Yoda. When he's 900 he's going to hobble out to the mound, drop his cane and start firing 96 MPH nasty.
ummmm..who was saying that Mo doesn't have the stuff to get out of a bases loaded jam??????

Giambi has hit the ball a ton tonight . . . the ball off the wall, the first homerun, the sac fly to deep right, and then the second homerun.
That ball did hit Crisp's glove, and I think he actually deflected it over the fence. That ball might have fallen just short if he didn't touch it.

Concur, even w/ Mo on the mound, having the insurance sure is nice. Maybe Papi will get to hit another meaningless shot and eveyone in Bristol can hug eachother.

I still want Mo to pitch the bottom of the inning.
This game is too important, and I really don't trust Dotel yet.
If we pick up another two runs, then we can talk. But right now, I want Mo out there.
