I don't understand why he couldn't DH tonight. Lefties are hitting something like .356 off of Lester.
Giambi has bad knees..Doubleheader might be too much for him

Social, who the heck is in your avatar?Admiral David Farragut.
On August 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_5), 1864 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1864), Farragut won a great victory in the Battle of Mobile Bay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mobile_Bay). Mobile, Alabama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile%2C_Alabama), at the time was the Confederacy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederate_States_of_America)'s last major port open on the Gulf of Mexico (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Mexico). The bay was heavily mined (tethered naval mines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_mine) were known as torpedoes at the time). Farragut ordered his fleet to charge the bay. When the monitor USS Tecumseh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Tecumseh) struck a mine and sank the others began to pull back. According to legend, Farragut (who was lashed to the rigging of his flagship the USS Hartford (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Hartford)) shouted down the order, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" The bulk of the fleet succeeded in entering the bay. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Farragut

Of course, but Villone is spent, he should no be in our pen right now, he should be resting.

Villone's arm must be dead .
This is a indefensible move by Torre. You CANNOT pitch one of your key relievers 4 days in a row and multiple innings at a time. It's not fair. And its not worth it.

Dude had himself lashed to the rigging of his own ship to show his sailors that he had no fear. When his small armada showed reluctance to go foreward, he screamed his famous quote (my sig), then won one of the principal naval battles of the Cival War.
And we think we have problems because our team is a little tired, and our sixth starter stinks?
