Eight hours, six minutes. Chicago vs. Milwaukee in 1984 (25 innings.)
The longest double header (18 innings) ever was 7 hours, 39 minutes, which we might have broken as well.

Didnt the Sox have like 7 errors in one game in that series?? How did that happen?? Thats like something you see in a HS game, and even then 7 errors doesnt happen often.

I just saw Rocky Balboa in the kitchen punching a side of beef. I opened the front door and a thunderstorm broke out in the doorway.
The longest home run I ever saw at The Stadium was one Strawberry hit in a game against the Mariners back in '98. The thing had RIDICULOUS hang time, it just floated in mid-air for like twenty seconds. The whole place stood up and went "OHHHHHH".
It landed 3-quartes up the center of the black, bounced off the back wall and rolled down the black again. It was the only time I ever heard people in stunned silence after a home run!
That was a great game...the Yanks were down by 1 in the 9th and I think Tim Raines hit a HR to tie it and they won in the 10th...
Poor Beam has to be so lonely in the bullpen.

Check that, it was a woman, not a child, who was hit by Jeter’s foul ball behind home plate in the second inning. Red Sox PR man John Blake just announced that she was brought to the hospital for precautionary reasons after being hit in the head, but that her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

I remember watching an old "This Week In Baseball" and they showed the highlights of that series and Mel Allen said the Yankees outscored the Red Sox 42-9 in the 4-game series.
